Need help with my next TV series on Netflix/Amazon Prime

In the last year I've watched all episodes of:
Lost
Heroes
Firefly
Breaking Bad
Dexter
Jericho

and enjoyed all of them immensely. Can't seem to find anything else yet on Netflix or Amazon that would be as good as those shows are. Anyone care to throw out some recommendations based on my top tier shows above? Tried 4400 and another one that I had to quit on lately. Thanks!

^ Prison break was good for the 1st 2 seasons then went downhill after that

Louis C. K.'s series is very good. Combination of comedy, stand up and life lessons

there are scenes in that series that are just brutal, with the "fat girl" monologue this season being the most recent. i usually don't like cringe/awkward funny, but he pulls it off so well and makes it (mostly) believable. the episodes centered around him going for Letterman's gig were great all around.

I still maintain that when starting a series begin with Season 2. They have things sorted out by then and it's easier to get hooked.

I would never intentionally start a series in season 2, but I will almost always wait until there is a 2nd or 3rd season in the can or in production to begin watching season one, since so many "good" shows have been cancelled during or immediately following their inaugural season...
