the craziest part of it, is they told us one reason it is taking so long is because for a young couple we are "unusually well off". Well if we re well off shouldnt that make the process go smoother because we re able to pay our bills?
No it makes it take longer because they have to make sure we make our money in a legit and legal way.
Doesnt help that my husband is self employed and its nearly impossible to prove where his income comes from.
Sigh.

No shit?! I have one of those too! About the same age. Maybe closer to two years than three.

It's pretty entry level so hopefully you weren't using it for something mission critical or if you were it should be relatively low cost to replace.
