Well, I nursed it along for a few days, hoping to make it until next week when I have a couple of days off. Didn't make it. The pump finally quit completely yesterday and would just immediately blow the circuit breaker when the pump came on.

My well guy showed up bright and early this morning, pulled the pump out and confirmed it was bad, and replaced the 110 volt pump with a 220 volt pump, ran some temporary wiring that I will reroute later for the 220, ran to town to pick up a new breaker and installed that and I have water again for $1100.

Worth every penny to have it done quickly and not have to mess with it. I could have done it myself for about half that amount but I'm just glad to have it done.

Couldn't login to make an online payment on my Comcast account today. Called in and the CSR let me know there is an issue with their system. Doesn't know when it may be resolved. Offered to take a payment by phone for a mere $5.99 service fee. Mad

Did I mention I'm on paperless billing? I can't even mail them a check because I don't have a bill. If they don't get their system fixed by the 28th, I'll have to leave work early and give them a check. If not, I'm sure they will be more than happy to charge me a late fee.
