Sick/Vacation Time should cover it imo. A shortfall in sick/vacation time could be made up for with days of unpaid leave perhaps.

If it's really that debilitating it should be an issue worked out with HR and a plan devised on an individual basis. May result in lower wage for less time worked, but if you aren't at work you shouldn't expect to be paid.

I just wish we got more sick days. We get three for the year. If we ask for management approval, we can get five. After that, you have to use vacation time, time off without pay, or disability.

So yeah - if anything we need more sick days to cover days where you have bad cramps, or just bad anything... I've had some awful dizzy spells and fatigue over the past month and only took off one day despite feeling like a zombie.
