I decided to take the easy road out for Saturday. I'm attending a family reunion about 2.5 hours away meaning I need to leave early in the morning to be there before lunch and it's difficult to take anything warm to eat. I bought two large bags of salad at Costco and will take them with some salad dressings for my potluck dish. I went to Costco to get brownie bites for my parents to take (at their request).
I have plans for dinner and then out to the bar tomorrow night so I have to time to do anything else than something as easy as this.

I have a friend that has managed to break almost all the umbrellas in use this year so while I was there I bought a two pack as a birthday gift.

Finally "won" something from Speedway. I had to go in for the fuel purchase. Due to a coupon from a local grocery store. But, I ended up getting a free slice of pizza. You know what, I'll take it. I'll save it for a day when I'm going to class. That way, I'll have something a little different for lunch. I guess I'll be going in to make more purchases.

Use it when you want a snack. A slice of their pizza isn't really a meal.
Congratulations though - I have not won something from them in some time but I did clean up two years in a row when the game pieces were the kind you tore the two ends off and opened up (that was some time ago).

Cold 44 here this morning

I put a crockpot full of chilli together for dinner. Salad and some hot chili sounds good with all this fall like weather. It's too early to turn the heat on which means I'm using those Mtn Dew hoodies in my house.

I just noticed today that I can get Speedy Points for things I am buying online (like groupons) anyway. Facepalm

One more place to check for maximizing savings, recwards, cash back, and so on.

Greedy I did redeem for a $100 GC from Speedway this week though.

Pizza: I know, it will augment my other lunch goodies.

Oooo Chili, it's been a while since I had that. That is the nice thing about cool weather.

Wearing the hoodies at home. Not what the advertisers had in mind.

Greetings, I hope this day is finding everyone well.

Anyone know of any Applebee's deals?
I signed up for their newsletters. But, they don't send out any coupons, unlike the other places.

They do have their 2 for $20 deal though. Plus, I see I can get a $25 GC from a gas station with my fuel points.
