It's sad, I won't be getting my pen set. I thought that would be a cool gift for a friend. Since they live off of Dt. Coke.
OH, plus, I screwed up. I entered a Zero code today and there wasn't any doubling. I missed it by a day. Oh well, at least I caught it last week. Plus, that means I can text in sprite codes.
Were you dq'd from the pen set or you mean you won't get it because you are giving it to someone else?
And probable when it's snowing, it will arrive. Not, that I'd use it being plastered with advertising.
If I had received the pens, I would be gifting those.

Hectic work week for me
I need to revisit my budget as I've had to dip into savings this month and I need to get that back there as soon as possible. These things happen, but I want to get back on track and utilities are not getting any better. I'm still holding off on turning on the furnace at home, but temps are dropping and it's not clear I can make it until the end of October to turn it back on. I may need to reprogram the programmable thermostat to warm up the house before the alarm clock in the morning and let the house cool back down for the rest of the day a couple hours later.
No big wins, or even small ones, lately.
I've decided not to mail in a lot of SASE for McD's monopoly game as the cost of that doesn't appear to come with a reasonable rate of return and I really don't need a lot of free fast food menu items.

I keep tinkering with the idea of mailing in a few McD's entries. As you said, the food... This weekend, I'll be out early. For the heck of it, I may get the hash browns. I'm not sure what other breakfast foods come with the game pieces. I do have BOGO q's for a local location. But, still, that doesn't entice me to get the food.
