This is a freebie site that has everything!!!!! The cool thing about this site is that they show you pictures of the deal (kinda like yelp i guess), and you can search by location (you can save your time and find what you're looking for around your area), by categories or by keywords yummy

Nice spending of the gift cards. Yeah, if you combine the Subway cards. They are back to locking after three times of combining. The website isn't really good at telling you that either. You have to connect the dots that there is a problem. You'll definably know once you go to the store to try to use it after a combining. I was really irked since it was one of those $10 cards and a card that had less than a buck. Yeah, I could understand it if I was trying to put on a larger value perhaps.

Mich! You must be so stoked after that game. Probable wondering for a bit, could the Coyotes actually win against the Wings. Well, they did get a point out of it. But, at least Zetterberg brought home the win.

Oh, Mich, if I were to go to the auto show. I think I would have to file a few complaints.
- LED tail light trend. Most seem to do something funky to the eye vision. So, due to that, they can be a distraction. Not to mention, there is at least one car model out there with super duper bright LED break lights.

- Back-up light on when the car is unlocked. That could be a safety hazard in parking lots. People are going to get used to seeing the white light on and assume people aren't backing up. Then, just drive by with out paying attention to see if the car is actually backing up. (Sure, people already ignore people pulling out of spots already. But, if your unsure of what's going on, that just adds to the problem.)

- I'm sure there's other things like chrome on the dash. OH! It's the electronic control of the inside outside air. That is annoying, the electronics are too slow for changing the vent from inside to outside air and they "automate" things. For one of my cars, it does different things when you use the a/c heat controls. If you turn the dial over to the coldest spot. The a/c turns on automatically, it can be forgotten and when you try to turn off the a/c with the button it stays on. Or, the vent won't close if the vent is on the windshield. So, instead of just turning on the a/c to clear the widows. One has to think about what position a dial has to be in for something to turn on/off. That whole automatic stuff is bad. Sure, they do it for those who don't know. But, blah. I still have to make some calls, to see if the dealer can wipe out the "automatic" features. I want to be able to control everything on my own. Heck, there are times, I close the vent. But, just a few minutes later, it opens. I could see people getting into accidents while trying to figure out the a/c/heat situation. But, of course, all the new bells and whistles could cause an accident too.

So I turned my 3 TJMaxx MCR GC's into a nice piece of luggage and a bunt cake pan.

Then went by Home Depot and turned 3 of the MCR GC's (one was a lay about from 2010) into a really nice rolling canvas tool case - which is also a funtional carry on and 2 emergency sensor lights which I've been wanting.

So now to swing by SubWay later tonight to remind me that all that digging in the trash cans and recycle bins PAY$ OFF!
Turned some of my Home Depot cards into new toilet parts. I ran home to get the tickets yesterday and quickly made a bathroom break at about 6pm. Came home at about 11:45pm to find the fill valve never shut off and was defective. Turned off the water and went this morning before work. Replaced that to find that the flapper was slowly leaking too so back to buy that part on my lunch hour and fix the toilet again. Earlier I bought some amplifiers to try and get a better hdtv signal for my bedroom tv.

The rest had better go into the new cabinet and sink for the bathroom or I'll be upset.

It was a very exciting game indeed.

Ah, I do believe winter has arrived and will stay this time.

Hearing more about Cloud computing... your automobile will be hooked into the Cloud.
Also, I'm not sure about the trend of touch screen operation. I like the dials on the radio and a/c /heat. That way, you don't have to look at what your doing. But, of course, if they're right. In ten years it won't matter, since our cars will be driving us.

FD, I have an inquire.

It's about Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure. Now, I am assuming that you've been to both.

Are they both good parks to visit? Would you choose to go to one over the other?

I have no idea if I'll actually make it down there. But, I'm just thinking about a possible future trip.

I've never been to the main Universal Studios but my college roommate was the manager for Cafe 4 on the Marvel Islands of Adventure when it opened up years back. And I just had my Fire and Ice t-shirt on Friday - I did like those two roller coasters.

I'm not sure if the new Harry Potter stuff is with the US or IOA, have to check that.

I've been to both over the years. Universal Studios is more of a theatrical "ride the movies" while IOA is more like a traditional theme park. Universal Studios is older and is currently undergoing some changes. It used to be that they had rides like Earthquake, King Kong, Back to the Future, and Jaws. All of those are gone now. The only ride that comes to mind right now is The Mummy, which was good. They are mostly rides where you get into a cart and it is inside a building and goes through scenes from the movie it portrays. They also have some live action shows like Beetlejuice, but I have never seen those.

IOA is very new, I believe it was built in 2002 or 03. They have quite a few roller coasters. The Hulk is a big one and one of the first things you see. Each section of the park is broken up into "lands" a lot like Disney. There is a comic book side, dinosaurs, Harry Potter etc. It is bigger and has a lot more "thrill" than Universal Studios.

If you can handle riding roller coasters and fast rides (I can't Frown ) then go to IOA. If you prefer nostalgia and less body impact/G force rides, go for the original.

A few things to note. Parking for either park is very far away from the parks themselves. You park in a giant garage and walk to the park using a series of walkways or moving side walks. Then you hit "City Walk" which is full of shops, restaurants and night clubs. It is a LOT of walking for the whole day, so be prepared for that. Also, it is pretty expensive (as are most theme parks). You can eat in the park or you can eat at City Walk. IIRC you cannot bring any snacks or beverages into the parks.

If you are coming in the summer, I would skip it all together. It is ungodly hot and humid and it rains almost every, single day. Not to mention it is crowded a lot. I think it is miserable from around May through October. Sweet spot would be March.

Thanks for the 411.

Yeah, I was thinking summer is too blah. But, I've never been to Orlando. So, this is some good info. As with any tourist area, things are pricey. But, since I had passes I was trying to figure out if I wanted to do a two park thing out of it. But, from what it sounds like, I might be good with one.

What would of helped though, if I had gotten the 1K PR points from MCR. But, they went OOS so fast. I think I'm only 2K points shy of 30K. So, with that 30K, I could get a decent night somewhere, or a couple of so so free nights. Or use the points for reduced rates. I'm not sure which way would be more beneficial.

So, I am just hoping that the points return. That would help out greatly. Maybe I can plan it for next year then, in March. This year is just impossible, plus, I'd like to go with a date.

BTW Mich, I messed up the Flickr thing. I sent you a Flickr mail or something giving you the correct Flickr account for me. I dunno what I was thinking haha
Also I added some more photos, took 3 trips this weekend, one to Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area, Gatorland and Seaworld Rofl2
busy busy, only Tosohatchee is edited and posted so far

Tosohatchee used to be the biggest game reserve in the State of FL, so it turned out that we went to go birding and take photographs, but we were like the only people there not on a hog hunt. It was sort of intimidating, but I was carrying my handgun so I wasn't too scared of anything except hogs and hunting dogs.. maybe a bear. But we made a lot of noise so they should have all been scared away.. except for hunting dogs. Only ran into one that wasn't with its owner, but holy shit are hunting dogs mean. This american bulldog (80+ pounds) took a few runs at my car while we were driving, it wanted a piece of me.
