They do have some cool lamps and they tend to be a bit pricey so maybe something like that, or hold on to it until Halloween and do it up right, they usually have some cool decorations and costumes.

I know what you mean about the crude humor and vibrators, LOL.. I used to go into spencers all the time as a teenager and I guess I had a memory lapse because about a year ago I was looking for something and ran in to see if they had it. With my kids in tow!! OMG, I have never entered and exited a store so fast.

July has been slow for me so far. A few small wins; $5 Amazon GC from Lee Jeans IWG, $5 Visa GC from Subway Grab the Green IWG. Hoping to win my first big win soon! Recently got engaged, and we are planning a wedding next year in the summer. A free trip or some cash would definitely come in handy! Smilie

the McDonalds in my state (Massachusetts) had a scavenger hunt this morning. Hiding 3ft tall giant smoothe cups across Cape Cod and Western MA. 40 were hidden. I got up at 4:30am this morning and found one of the enormous cups. Now as a reward I'm getting a year off free McDonalds Smoothies. This will go along nicely with my year of Subway Subs!

That sounds like a fun promotion, wish they would do something similar locally...I recall when I won free Charleys subs for a year, by end of the year I could barely eat them anymore. Local restaurant was amazing to work with though. They always added extra jalapenos because they knew I liked mine spicy. Began greeting me by name. If only all redeemable prizes would be so simple.

Yup. same happened with my year of subway. I won a $260gc then another $200 in smaller gift cards (lots of subway twitter promos) and I still have around $200 left and i can't stand the smell or look of the store anymore. So sick of it. Gonna last me the rest of my life.

i second (or third) the suggestions of band/movie merch. They do get a lot of fun halloween things (it's about the only time i ever shop there) and tend to get a lot of other "holiday" stuff (think the party holidays: st. patricks day, mardi gras).
