The BBC has suspended Jeremy Clarkson following allegations of a fracas with a Top Gear producer.



The BBC2 show will not be broadcast this Sunday [independent.co.uk] while the BBC investigates the allegation.


Clarkson was already on a final warning from the BBC following a string of accusations of racism.


The BBC said: "Following a fracas with a BBC producer Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time."

I liked when Top Gear wasn't as popular as it is now. It was actually for people who genuinely liked cars. Now they focus less on the cars and more on the entertainment aspect to gain more viewers

That's mostly why Top Gear US hasn't ever been as good as the UK version. It started out already focusing on being an entertainment show over a car show. I still like both versions but now neither one of them are really for car people any more.

Yep, that's what I mean. I few vocal idiots who can screw things up for what most people want. It is getting sickening.

I think Clarkson should become a part of the US Top Gear show. I think he would be hilarious making fun of a lot of the typical American car mentality. laugh out loud
