PHP and MySQL Web Development (4th Edition) (Developer's Library) (Paperback)
by Luke Welling (Author), Laura Thomson (Author)
This looks pretty good as far as I can tell from Amazon which has a preview feature and Ive been combing the net for info on varioustopics. Besides the general stuff on PHP and MYSQL which I already have , it has stuff on apps like the basics of coding forum type software and a shopping cart. Im still want to learn how to actually understand in super simple concept form how it works because flat view grid type discussion format is used in review sites, forums etc.
Ill probably get this one too --- PHP stuff on various topics including coding a grid format.
AJAX and PHP: Building Responsive Web Applications (Paperback)
by Cristian Darie (Author), Bogdan Brinzarea (Author), Filip Chereches-Tosa (Author), Mihai Bucica (Author)
Both topics can be found on the net --- theres a fair amount of stuff on grids but its all over the map. Some use one type of technology over another. Theres a tutorial using EXT Javascript on the net to make a grid.
Surprisingly finding coding on writing a forum is pretty hard to find except for one or two really moldy articles. However theres tons of scripts you can download --- grids and forums if you just wanted to try to figure it out yourself.
Im still planning on getting some books on Phtoshop techniques --- theres on out on collages and then Id like to get some on general skills and those WOW type books that show experts doing amazing thngs with various software like Illustrator and PS.
This one looks interesting too if you want to use the Zen Cart for a shopping cart.
Zen Cart: E-commerce Application Development: A step-by-step developer's guide
by Suhreed Sarkar (Author)
I mentioned I got this book a while ago for HTML and CSS etc but I noticed along with its great reviews at Amazon some recent reviewers didnt like it.
HTML, XHTML, and CSS, Sixth Edition (Visual Quickstart Guide) (Paperback)
by Elizabeth Castro (Author)
I saw this book later and others may not agree but I think this is much easier to use.
Its a big thick book with lots of info on HTML , CSS and has general info on website creation as well as a tiny preview of PHP and Javascript. You can see the big picture a lot easier with this book. One thing I think a lot of people get confused at is the way these books go through all kinds of HTML tags and then later tell you they are deprecated and its bettter to use CSS.
Sams Teach Yourself Web Publishing with HTML and CSS in One Hour a Day (5th Edition) (Paperback)
by Laura Lemay (Author), Rafe Colburn (Author)
The next step after that of course is to slog through simple templates you can download for free from the net and try to see if they start making sense after reading these type of books.
There are some fun books to look at to see what type of styles there are for websites:
The Web Designer's Idea Book: The Ultimate Guide To Themes, Trends & Styles In Website Design (Paperback)
There are also some interesting books on advanced CSS techniques that talk about various styles too.
Merry Meet..Y'All!!!
it's really good! im not at all surprised to see all of it's reviews on amazon are 5 stars.

Currently I am reading "Spares" by Michael Marshal Smith. It's a good read so far and is going by very quickly.
and I just started the Choice by Nicholas Sparks.
