Gee, whoever would peg you as a Hitchhikers fan? Rofl2

I still wonder how Douglas Adams was going to resolve the half missing cat case. Confused

The travesty is called "And Another Thing... [wikipedia.org]". Warning you just so you know what to avoid.

Didn't know this thread existed?! Great ideas for books in here.

I've got 2 books open right now, depending on my mood:

Lab 257: The disturbing story of the governments secret Plum Island germ laboratory.
Michael Carroll

Under the Dome
Stephen King

I just finished 'Flesh House' by Stuart MacBride. It would make a great tv movie.

And am now reading 'Industrial Magic' by Kelley Armstrong.
I really enjoyed this series also!!.....have you read the others??

I love to read so much and it kills me to find out that 25% of Americans did not read a book at all in 2006 [washingtonpost.com].
That I just cannot comprehend...not ONE book??
But thinking about it...did the study include people who could not read in the first place?

I'm currently on the second book in the "Ashes" series by William Johnstone. The writing style is horrible and some of the content is downright offensive and some laughable. But as far as a post-holocaust plot the books are incredibly addictive and I can see myself continuing to read the series (I believe there are over 30 books in the series now).
Well, apparently I wasn't the only one who thought the writing was bad in these books. Barnes and Noble had pretty much the entire series a couple of months ago but when I went there today they only had the latest book in the series. Sounds like they just weren't selling and they all got sent back to the publisher.

I guess if I want to continue with the series I will have to find another source.

Reading Stephen King's "The Stand" right now. 60 pages in... still doing character development. Shocking Bible-thin pages, too.
