Need help finding a book...

I thought it was called..."The Humble People". I can't find it anywhere.

tI was about a man who goes to Africa and lives with with one of the plains tribes. It tells of everyday life...from gathering food to making musical instruments. It was a great book.

as a fan of the hunger games, i've gotta say i like the heroines in the divergent and insider series a lot more than the hunger games' katniss.

Putting Birthmarked on my list. I've read a few of the dystopian novels and enjoyed them. I loved Divergent and can't wait for the next book. Also read the first book of The Hunger Games, and have to get the rest.

The question is, what book to read next? We hit two book warehouse sales in as many weekends and have book overload at the moment. Either The Ice People [amazon.com] by Rene Barjavel or Anansi Boys [amazon.com] by Neil Gaiman or one of the dozens of other books I haven't read yet.

Just noticed on The Ice People, the price back in 1973 was $1.25. Had to pay $8.00 for it online as I couldn't find a copy locally, it's been out of print since the 70's.
i've heard good things about the anansi boys. i've got it on audio book but haven't gotten a chance to listen yet.

Anansi Boys is a follow up to American Gods. Don't know if you need to read American Gods first but it might help. I started Anansi Boys but have been so busy lately, I'm still on chapter one. Embarrassment

I found the Harry Potter series in ebook format online. It's awesome! There's a few typos, but otherwise it's perfect.

I love reading book one again. I haven't had the chance to read them in a long time because when I moved out of my dad's house, I never got them back. I miss my hardcovers. Frown
