Harry turns out to be a girl, one appropriately named such because of a genetic disorder. Hope I didn't spoil it for ya! laugh out loud

A Storm of Swords from the Song of Ice & Fire series by George R. R. Martin. This series is quite good for those who like the fantasy genre. I've been tearing through it.

You know, I've heard good things about that series as well, but I couldn't get into the first book. So you're saying it's worth sticking around?

Book 3 is amazing. Some of the best fantasy ever. (I haven't cracked book 4, yet)...

It's definitely shaping up to be a good series - very good if you like dark themes. I'd say each book has gotten better so far through book 3. I also have not read book 4 yet as I'm waiting until book 5 comes out. The only problem with this series is that dude took 5 years to go from book 3 to 4, and book 5 isn't going to be out until late '07 at the earliest. And he has another 4 books slated after that. I used to think Jordan was bad about hitting deadlines Smilie

I'm currently reading Day Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko. It's the sequel to Night Watch which was made into a movie. Pretty neat stuff. Google/amazon it if you like any sort of fantasy type stuff.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire sequence: I loved the first 3 books. Book 4 was a disappointment. It almost seemed like he just fell in love with his own writing if you know what I mean. I'm really hoping he gets back in gear for book 5 because he's proven in the first 3 books that he can write amazing fantasy novels.

Mad Argh! I HATE that! laugh out loud that's why I'm glad I waited so long to discover most of the series I've read.

Yup, I'm reading Goodkind now because there are like 12 books already out by him Smilie It's getting close to the time to start reading Jordan again, though.
