Still none of these flavors at my local grocery store which doesn't surprise me. I did get to Walmart a few days ago and they had only one of the four--the Greektown Gyro, so I bought those to try. They were okay but nothing that would have me running out to buy more anytime soon. But I didn't find anything to hate about them either. If someone put them out at a party I would probably have a handful but they aren't a chip that I would start eating and finish off the bag because I couldn't stop eating them.

I'm still hoping to try the rest of the flavors eventually. I will be traveling around in four or five different states in a couple of weeks so I will likely come across the others.
I almost missed them, they weren't on the chip aisle at the grocery store near us, they had a square cardboard display over near the check out stands. Then for some weird reason they moved the display to the other side of the checkout stands near the customer service desk, so you wouldn't even see them until after you have already checked out at the registers. Dontknow

If they were to announce that they had tweaked the Truffle Fries chips, I would try them again in a heartbeat. Great concept, poor recipe, they were way too heavy handed with the parsley, it drowned out the rest of the seasoning entirely and I love parsley. When I pulled the first chip from the bag and saw it was mostly green, my heart (and my taste-buds) sank, I knew it was going to be overwhelming.

I think Lay's should just stop trying so hard and just put freaking bacon in the bag and be done with it. Then everyone would be happy. Well, I'd be happy anyway.

I had a small biscuits and gravy bag that I tried. It was ok. It wasn't a very strong flavor. I didn't dislike it but if I'm going to buy flavored potato chips I'd probably still just go with cheddar/sour cream, sour cream and onions or bbq over that.
I finally saw them and picked up a regular sized bag. They are, as you say, okay.

Try Subway. Every Subway I have been to had them, but in smaller bags
But then you're in Subway.

Me neither. It's probably be the best bag of chips ever made.

I did try that one. It was pretty good, probably my favorites of the various "do us a flavor" chips. I got a regular sized bag of that awhile back but we never finished it. It's like they tried to overdo the smokey "bacon" flavor a little too much. The cheese taste made it better though.

DH loves the Walkers Smokey Bacon chips or crisps as they call them in the UK.

Just realized, when I went looking for a link to the Walkers Smokey Bacon, that the logo is almost identical to the Lays logo, maybe they're all part of the same company? Dontknow

I looked and it said that yeah, it's distributed as Walkers in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Well huh.

Interesting, thanks! DH likes the Smokey Bacon, Prawn Cocktail, Cheese & Onion, and the Monster Munch Pickled Onion.

Buying the single serving 1.2 ounce bags at the British Shop here costs a fortune, almost $2 per 1.2 oz bag. It's good to see that Amazon is selling them now.

Has he tried the roast chicken one? I saw that on amazon and just have no idea what that could taste like. Maybe chicken bouillon on a chip or something?

He likes the roast chicken one but since they're expensive here and he likes the other flavors more, I never buy the roast chicken for him.

They taste sort of like the prawn crackers/chips you get in some restaurants or asian food stores, but the texture kills it for me, since it's basically shrimp flavored potatoes instead of the usually light fluffy cracker.

I keep seeing the commercial on TV about voting for your favorite flavor. And I'm not going to because of three things.

1.) Didn't really love any of the flavors (that I tried).
2.) In the commercial, they show people eating out of a bag of chips that's filled to the top with whole potato chips. In real life, the bag is like half full with crunched up chips.
3.) Biggest reason, each time someone takes a bite they play this huge loud sounding crunch that sounds like someone is chomping on glass. Makes me twitchy.

So HA...take THAT Lays.

Right?! Sounds like eating a bag full of deck screws.
