1.) Didn't really love any of the flavors (that I tried).
2.) In the commercial, they show people eating out of a bag of chips that's filled to the top with whole potato chips. In real life, the bag is like half full with crunched up chips.
3.) Biggest reason, each time someone takes a bite they play this huge loud sounding crunch that sounds like someone is chomping on glass. Makes me twitchy.
So HA...take THAT Lays.
Don't forget Chicken and Waffles, Sriracha (sp?), and Wasabi I think the only ones left is Wasabi. Cheddar bacon Mac Did ok, BUT you couldn't GIVE Cappuccino away...
My least favorite was the Truffle Fries. The flavor was okay but since I have never had Truffle Fries I couldn't say if it represented them well. I just generally don't like wavy chips unless I am using a dip and I wanted to try all of these on their own. I wasn't running back to buy more.
Second from the bottom was the Gyro. I didn't hate them like some others here have mentioned but they just didn't taste that good. Since there are so many different possibilities when it comes to Gyros it is tough to say how well they did with getting the flavor right.
Next up is the Reuben. This is the one I had the highest hopes for and it was a close call for making this one my favorite or not. I think the reason it takes second place for me is just that it let me down as far as what I had hoped for. If I had tasted these without having any idea of what the flavor was I would never have decided on my own that it was supposed to taste like a Reuben. But, when I got past the disappointment of not tasting like the sandwich I did acquire a taste for these ones.
That leaves Biscuits and Gravy as my top pick of the four. From the second the first handful of these pass your lips there is no mistaking the flavor of the gravy. They hit that nail right on the head. As far as biscuits and gravy? Not so much. Don't get me wrong, I thought these ones were pretty good and of the four I will likely buy these again someday if they are still around. But I think they would have hit it out of the park if they had instead named them Kentucky Fried Chicken Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. Because that is the overall flavor that they captured. It's been a while since I have had KFC mashed potatoes and gravy but that was the first though I had when I first tasted these and I had the same thought with every bite. That is not a complaint though--I liked these ones. Maybe the Biscuits and Gravy flavor would come through if they came out with a complementary pork sausage dip.
