Yeah...I'm not a fan of bleaching either. It's hard because so many of the hair colors say "Your hair will be in better shape after you use this!!" but I really have to wonder about that.
Whenever I've used level 2 semi-permanent (most folks use level 3 permanent) Natural Instincts, 1) it smells way better than most dyes, and 2) it really does seem to make my hair super soft and nourished. Dontknow

I desperately need a cut. And all the stupid CL free cut thingies or cheaper cut thingies have backfired on me. Frown Sigh. Must. Get. Job.

paint go to stretch/skew. enter something <100% for horizontal/vertical.. and it'll work.

last one at 50% size
Thanks. I'm a damn n00b sometimes. I still don't know how to put a quote in my signature and have it link back to the original post.

My problem is...I only have Serif Photo Plus and it'll resize the image but it will save it in some odd format that nothing else supports. I used to have photoshop on my last computer and I Loved it...but when it crashed I lost it.

Yeah...I usually use the permanent ones..and Right after I wash them they Do make my hair feel and smell amazing. (I love the conditioner they come with, lol)...but like you...I So need a haircut. My hair's longer than it was in that picture (That was taken Christmas day and I just got it off my camera today, lol) and the bottom looks frizzy.

You could buy a pair of hair cutting scissors and have your boyfriend trim your hair, if it's just a general cut.

In the picture of me..you'll notice the eye on the left is green and the eye on the right is bluer. That's because I once got prescription contacts in green and some in clear. I lost one of them and could afford to get new ones at the time...so I'm walking around with two color eyes (It's not too noticable). So my husband makes fun of me and calls me Phantom because of the two color eyes. Annoyed
laugh out loud I had to go back and look closely. Ok, since you're making Phantom feel more normal I guess he won't have to call the doggie authorities. LMAO

Ok - the rest of you moms can just hang it up. I've clinched "mom of the year" for 2008. Yesterday it was the near-hanging in the back yard. Today? The boys ran away. EEK! Keep in mind they are 4.5 and 2.5.

Grandpa left after Easter dinner and didn't lock the gate. The boys were outside playing, I'm emailing my friend the lactation consultant to have her call my sister, DH is playing on another computer. I get up to stir the macaroni and notice the gate is open. I yelled "GATE IS OPEN" and ran out the door to the neighbors' house, expecting the big twerp to be there trying to score some wii time. DH runs the opposite way and finds them walking down the sidewalk nearly 2 blocks away. Oh My Autumn's Dad. They were barefoot. They crossed the street ("But I was careful, mama!") and apparently cars looked at them. Shocking I didn't yell - much. I told the big one how scared I was that he could have been really hurt and how he should never ever leave our yard without Mommy or Daddy with him. "But I wanted to go for a walk with my brudder!"

The dude tried to lawyer his way out of it. It wasn't until I threatened to throw away all things electronic that he realized the severity of his actions and began to cry.

I can't take much more of this! DH tells me the boys are just getting warmed up. EEK!

Is today a day where you typically interact with your family? Even if you don't see them?

Today, I called my father, and both my sisters and got voice mail/answering machines from all of them. It's 10:30 almost and haven't heard back from any of them. I've interacted with a grand total of 2 people today.

Happy Easter. laugh out loud

hug You're handling that well.
Jamie wandered off when he was 2.5. In a split second. My heart stopped. He followed Pugsley down the hill at the back of the property- I called and called, he didn't answer. I didn't know which way he went and I freaked out. Finally, I called Pugsley, thinking maybe he DID follow him...when I saw what direction Pugs came from, I ran. I mean RAN. He was in a cornfield behind the property...no shoes. The corn had been harvested, so it was broken over stalks..I don't know how he didn't tear his feet up. I almost lost my freaking mind. I feel for you. hug

I think you've seen my pic before...my hair is blond and naturally it's a fairly dark brown. I've never had the color stripped from it totally. And for my touch ups I just use L'Oreal or (due to a friend giving me coupons) Clairol...and I go with a light ash blond to help tone down what natural red is hidden in my hair.
i used to dye my hair every week because i worked at a Sallys Beauty Supply and got a big discount. i'd get bored and color it a different shade. since that's putting so much peroxide on my hair, it bleached it so light over time! the ends of my hair got to be strawberry blonde Shocking. my hair is naturally a golden brown with lots of natural highlights. it got to a point where i colored it with light browns or dark blonde colors.

I did ok for a while... the adrenaline rush kept me from breaking down. When it left I started to get misty but kept it together. Thank goodness they're safe.
