Dry heaving yesterday.
Sore throat today.

My usual cluster headaches, headaches, and mini-migraines.

Fantastic.

Two nights of combined sleep = 6 hours.

Beautiful.

No s*** I'm cranky. Get outta my way and stay outta my way. Ranting

Unless you're gonna run a super hot bath for me (which isn't possible since the spout never puts out hot water, and you'd have to boil water on the stove and carry it over to the end of the hallway to dump into the tub).

Crying

I don't feel so great. Frown

And how the f*** did I get sick?! I almost never go out and almost never see any other humans?!

I repped ya for it. nod

Ranting Little twerp woke up at midnight and said he was scared. (learned that from his brother, I'm sure) I rocked him and put him back to bed. Dude boomeranged out and was standing by my bed again. I rocked him again - until he was asleep! Put him to bed, and he made it 10 minutes before heading downstairs again demanding to "Watch Pooh." Oh Heck No. I marched him upstairs and put him in his bed and told him I didn't want to see him out of bed again unless he was sick or the sun came up. Then I locked the gate at the top of the stairs. He tried again to come downstairs - screamed twice and gave up. So I was wide awake until about 2:00.
Dude was up at 7:01 this morning. In his defense, the sun had risen - so he gets to live.
I just saw that you PMed me a few days ago I think? (haven't read it yet). I'm sorry I didn't get back to you. SD didn't give me a pop up that I had a new PM. Annoyed

I had a friend tell me that your immune system weakens (or doesn't build up against the new strains of viruses) when you seclude yourself. So, when you do go out, it's easier for you to catch stuff. (Think of all the germs on the shopping cart handles, etc)

Why not take some nyquil this evening so you can get a good night's sleep? That's probably the best thing you can do for yourself right now.

hug I hope you feel better soon.

My little guy goes in tmrw morning for his evaluation. I'm so nervous right now.
On the positive side, the pain from his ear infection seems to be gone so we should have at least aother week before the next one hits him. Stick Out Tongue

My husband gets cluster headaches, they are so debilitating. The ONLY thing that has worked for him and relieved most if not all of the pain is pure Oxygen. Go see a neurologist (if you haven't already) and ask for a prescription for Oxygen. Trust me, it's made a huge difference in his life and mine.

No, I'm not. I just bought some bc and it's just so yucky. I can't imagine anyone actually using it and liking it. Yuk

You really have to give your body a few months to get used to the pill. (i'm guessing that's what you're talking about) I take the seasonale variety and love it! No issues at all!

Got a call this morning at work. One of those usual responses that just drives me nuts.
Calller: "Can I speak to Ken?"
Me: "May I ask who's calling?"
Caller: "Jessica."
Me: "and with what company please?"
Caller: "He knows."

I hate that. He may know, but I sure as hell don't. And 99% of the time when this happens, it is a sales call.

laugh out loud Nope, not the pill either. I didn't say it earlier because I know some of the guys visit this thread and probably don't want to hear about it.
I bought some spermicidal jelly and it's just terrible. I won't explain why (because it really is TMI laugh out loud).
The benefits (no baby number two!) outweigh the negatives, though.

I can't take regular birth control right now because the right side of my body goes numb no matter what kind I take. It's really weird.
I do miss the security (not to mention the benefits!) of regular bc, though. Sadwalk

Ugh. I don't know if I've used that particular brand, but I've tried the dissolve strip before. Let's just leave it at two things:
  1. I'm glad I'm also on the pill-- definitely wanted the extra security.
  2. I hear it's not so great in the taste department.

Damn it all. Yeah, that makes sense. But still. Grrrrrrr. And NyQuil doesn't knock me out. And the liquid version just makes me gag. Nono2

Well hopefully the infection leaving for now is a good sign. Best of luck for his eval. hug

If the insurance company double-checks w/ the employer-- I technically don't qualify for insurance. Embarrassment I don't want to push it by asking for O2. But now you have me really jealous and wanting to try it. It's very rare that a day goes by when I don't have a headache for the bulk of the 24-hrs.

Agreed! And different pills are soooooo different. I've tried 3 different kinds, er, one kind (forget which) that didn't hit me hard when I started but made my emotions go insane throughout the cycle, Ortho-tri (made me nauseated, dry-heave for the first 3 days but was otherwise "fine") and now Yasmin. Which seems the most "gentle" of the three. And I'm stickin' w/ it!
