The Febreze noticeables are like scented oil things that plug in the outlet. They have two scents that alternate every few minutes. Smells pretty good. I had a coupon for one free that I used.
I bought these last week. So far, I like these more than the Freshmatic ones. Now, let see how long they will last...

You would think my house would smell like heaven with all the deals that I got for Airwick, Glade, Lysol, and Febreze. Before couponing, I would never looked twice at spending an outrageous amount on smelly gadgets that cost over $10 and last only a few weeks. Then, to spend about $5 more for the refills. Now, I have more smelly things in the house for the house and the body than the store's shelves.

Same here!!! I have so much stinky stuff (in a good way) that I'm using most of it for prizes at my niece's baby shower! (Hope nobody thinks that I think they stink or something! LMAO) BINGO!!! Here's your prize...have some deodorant!!! j/k....

I've wrapped up Glade candles and airwick dispensers and stuff like that. Some body wash. Hope everyone likes it!

I almost lost a receipt (for a rebate), an RR, AND cash, all at once coming out of WAG the other day. EEK! Set my open purse down on the trunk of my car for one second with all that stuff stuffed in the top of it, and whooosh! You should have seen me chasing it all-- but I got it! woot

I totally would have crawled under that car to get my receipt, and then I probably would have been arrested for suspicion of planting a bomb or something. laugh out loud

Lots of people don't care for the SB shower cleaner, but I really like it. OK, it's not as good as, you know, actually scrubbing the shower with your hands, but I think it does the trick in between real cleanings. I'd probably be disappointed though if I actually paid $20 for it. Smilie I think I paid $5 for the first one, and then the second one I think I "made" like $3 on it after MQ, rebate and a T GC deal.
WTG! Glad you got it all back!!! It is amazing how quickly things can blow in different directions at once!!! LOL

So what is the deal in the shower thing? I don't have one --- but I would like one --- except where do you put your shampoo if you hang that from your showerhead?

I *think* they now come with an extra attachment that creates a shower rack thingie for your shampoo, etc. I remember having to fill out a web form a million years ago to get one special since I bought my original one before they added in this feature. Theoretically, the new ones come with these.

I think her grandbaby was over due by about 5 days at her last post anyway, which was quite a few days ago.

I know you didn't ask me, but IMHO, I don't see it being a problem returning something for $12 when your OOP was $70. It's when the OOP's get down to $10-$20 from $100 or more, that's a problem. Especially when your return will net more than your OOP in the first place.
Thanks! I was just checking! I look to y'all who have more experience - and I totally agree about NOT returning merchandise that costs more than your OOP --- how on earth would one even explain that?

Just checking though - if you have purchased stuff and your total was - for argument's sake $70 and you need to return an item that cost $12 would you still do that - or is your rule that you return nothing EVER! I generally don't return - but I have one return I would like to make at the moment - it would still leave my total at almost $60 but should I just not make any returns ever on principle?

Hey I have a question - I have never returned jewelry - but if you return it the store has to throw it away like food???? That seems crazy! Can't they clean the necklace or whatever in that cleaner stuff they use? What is the logic of throwing away jewelry? Sorry - I read this and was just confused!
if you're returning something that was $12 and your oop was $60 - $70, you should be fine returning it.

jewelry for the most part is not resaleable once it gets returned to the store. earrings definitely not, because of hygiene issues and most stores will not even do returns for those. and definitely not anything else that comes back without packaging, scanning upc, pricetag, etc. as for having to just throw it away - the particular vendor my store got higher end jewelry from did not accept returns from us. therefore yes, we did have to scan it out as defective, break it up into pieces (so people wouldn't want to steal it from our garbate) and throw it away.

so i would say what happens to jewelry when it gets returned would depend on what company the retailer gets their supply from. if the vendor issues credit for defects the jewelry would not get thrown away (it would just come off a future invoice to give the store credit). but it would most likely would never end up on the sales floor to be resold again.

same thing with makeup - even if it looks unopened it is automatically defected out because of hygiene issue. most makeup lines do back up their product though and WILL reimburse retailers for damages. so trying a new product, different shade, etc you shouldn't feel guilty about returning if you don't like it - as a cos manager i always told my customers this so they would feel more positive about trying our new products. we didn't have testers, and it really is difficult to 'recommend' a particular product or shade when everyone's skin type is different and reacts differently to the item/ color (especially when you've never attended cosmetology school, and your employer does not pay for your education). anyhow, this is why a color can look so good on someone else but blah on you.

back to the jewelry question though. overall i would never recommend buying jewelry as a gift for someone unless you really know them well. so much jewelry comes back just because it was an unwanted gift. doing this alone would cut back on so much damaged/ uncredited merchandise when it need not have been so.

that being said, i didn't care if people returned jewelry to my store. (i did receive credit for most of the jewelry i carried)
i did care about that particular lady though because she was a 'repeat offender' - and i do mean she had done it several times within a relatively short period of time, with my high end jewelry (and was affecting my dept. sales and in turn my paycheck!). it really would have been so much easier if i hadn't had to even carry the expensive stuff, so i wouldn't have to worry about not getting credit for damages, and profit loss. but, i always had to have what corporate told me to carry so.. whatever. Stick Out Tongue

Not much of a deal here. It's 4/$12, and etq's are not "knowingly" Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) accepted at this store so I can only use a few at a time. I'm a big Diet Coke fan, but learning to like Pepsi lately. I think I'll learn to like it much more next week...
