1 month and counting until the new season starts...

Any ideas on how this seasons going to go? The only previews/clips I've seen is Jack wondering around what looks like Arizona, and he answers his cellphone "How did you get this number?" I have no idea what's going to happen... and that's what i love Evil

I guess I'm one of the few that actually enjoyed the last 10 minutes of the season finale. I like it when the show takes a few moments to focus on the pain and anger Jack is feeling. I guess you could say the "twist" was that there was no twist (gah, it's so cliche but I guess that's the easiest way to put it).

I"ve been watching since season 1 and I will give next season a try, but depending on how they spin the show in a different direction this season will probably be my last. Either way, it's been a good ride.

I don't mind seeing Jack show emotions. Heck, he was borderline suicidal in the beginning of Season 2 and then cried in his car at the end of Season 2 (or was it 3?). He was torn up like hell when Tony, Michelle, David Palmer, etc. died in the beginning of Season 5. And even in the beginning of this season, he told Bill B. "I can't do this anymore" and was about to quit until he saw a nuke bomb go off in Valencia. So I don't mind seeing him get emotional. I just thought the last 10 min. were way too boring. At the least, I was expecting Audrey to either wake up or maybe squeeze his hand. Give a sign, "dammit!" But nothing. And then he goes out and stands in Heller's backyard, appearing to want to jump over the cliff. That was just too lame. Frown

I know that it was not season 2 since they had to rush him off to the hospital at the end of season2 because of what happened to him that day Smilie

Kim Raver didn't have a big part, not even a small part in the plot this season. She came back for what? 3 episodes- with 20 minutes screen time tops?

I really didn't like the last 10 minutes of this season.

I have been watching since Season 3, the last 10 minutes of each season was Jack's emotional side. S3 was when Jack cried. S4 when Jack walked into the sunset. S5 was when The chinese came. S6 is when he wanted to jump off the cliff.

I liked S4's ending. Big Grin

The only reason she came back was because her show, The Nine, was absolutely terrible and was canceled quickly.

S1 and S5 had the "shocker" endings:
S1: David Palmer was nearly assassinated (that dirty handshake)
S5: Bauer was kidnapped and shipped off to China, perhaps evening the US/China trade deficit since Bauer has to be worth at least $100 billion. laugh out loud

Well, it's not even that. The 1st 5 min. of 24S6E24 were lame w/ Chloe being pregnant.
