Q's CVS Lounge

I changed the name of the thread because I think that Q's CVS Lounge gives a better representation of what the thread is about. This isn't a deals thread although I will sometimes be posting deals. I'll probably talk more about Transylvania and the stock market than I will about the drugstores but the main thing is that is that I want this to be a cool place to hang out.

i think there is a limit of 25 stickied threads per forum. there is a subscribed thread limit but i haven't hit it yet. i'm subscribed to 298 threads. granted many of them are totally useless and i should unsubscribe to probably at least 50+ of them, but some of them like target and staples i use for research purposes the following yr or 2. it's much easier to find the thread in your subscribed list than go hunting for it. some, like retired target threads can be very difficult to find. i usually sticky, subscribe and link them in the wikis for those threads. it got to be so many b/c if you comment in any thread now you are automatically subscribed. my subscriptions then got out of hand and i need to clean them out.

i like to use the ucp page to see the funny messages people leave if they rep me. sometimes i try to say something funny or sarcastic and the messages are always entertaining. it loses it's entertainment value if you don't read them right away.

I'm pretty good about unstickying a weekly thread once the week is over and haven't hit the 25 limit yet. Seems I'm not slickdealing nearly as much as I could be. laugh out loud

I see what you mean about Axe. I spilled some 2 in 1 shampoo last night in my car and within 5 minutes I was having a full blown allergy attack and had to go home. I forgot to take it out of the car and I got another allergy attack when I tried to go shopping today. I made it to one store and then I had to turn around and go back home again.

No problem. I'm excited about the 25% off crt especially since it's 12 digit. I need to read the threads some more because I'm not sure how you get it. Is it only available at the store or will it be in the Thursday ad? If it's in the ad, I'd better order papers. I don't want to depend on the store having photocopies.

I keep mine, too to refer to. Don't subscribe to weekly threads, though.

If it's 12 digit it can be used over and over again. If it's like the 12 digit x/xx, it can be used for weeks after it expires but that's (of course) ymmv.

I'm sure that you already know this but just in case. The ads in the store won't have the q. Only the papers that you buy or have delivered will have ads with the q.

I'm excited especially if it's usable after it expires. Some stores have a policy about not taking percent offs if they're expired. The 12 digit "should" go through beepless when it's expired. Again, I'm going off of my experience with a 12 digit x/xx so I could be wrong. The coupon should usable for at least 2 weeks after it expires but I remember it being longer. Again, it's ymmv with what your store(s) accept.

The key for next week will be Tuesday and if the clearance markdowns that are now 25% go down to 50% or 75%. If they do, watch out. I'll be there at 8 am scanning. If it's like it was this week, you might only have a couple of hours before it's all wiped out. At least I'm all set with q's (H&S, Pantene Expert, OS).

I need to look at the Wags ads. I really can't believe that they are as bad as reported but they probably are.
