*For clarity, this means 4 per household, regardless of the number of residents. Any requests beyond 4 will not be honored.

They cleared that up. Oh well, I have 3 addresses I can use so I'll get 12 anyway.

Can I turn my house into an apartment complex (just for this promotion)? The mail carrier will figure out where the envelopes go.

there is a BWW rep here... so you're giving them ideas of what to look out for and deny.

I wasn't going to do it anyway. I was just being a SA. Big Grin
Mailed out 12 last year for legitimate family members and got 0 back. Frown
Definitely playing by the rules to hopefully get something back. If it means only 4 come to my house, then that's better than 0.

i want to say page 2 of this thread at the end, but that's from memory. They definitely made a post in this thread though, supposedly.

What if we already mailed the entries YESTERDAY when your OFFICIAL website: (http://www.bwwbonusentry.com/ ) stated the limit was 4 per person?

"Limit four (4) Coupons per person regardless of method of participation."

Kind of messed up to change the rules after you officially post the details and rules on your OFFICIAL site, no?

Some advice for next year, just say "limit 4 per address" and it will prevent this unnecessary confusion. "(4) Coupons per person, per household, per address" could easily be interpreted as 4 per person per household per address... like this promotion has been in the past.

Normally, I would assume this is a troll post but since the site was updated since yesterday with your verbiage, I tend to believe you.

They changed it after the contest began.

This is a representative from Buffalo Wild Wings posting to clarify a few rules regarding the Blazin' Bonus promotion. This is a "while supplies last" promotion and we are working hard to fulfill as many eligible entries as possible. We love the enthusiasm around this promotion, and we established rules to allow as many Guests to participate as possible with the supplies available. In the spirit of the promotion, we ask our Guests to please comply with the rules, available here: http://www.buffalowildwings.com/e...15---KB-2/ or your entry may not be honored. Information posted on sites other than buffalowildwings.com or bwwbonusentry.com may not be accurate and we recommend that you visit our official sites to verify any information. As a reminder on two important rules, you must be at least 18 and a US resident (void in FL, NY, RI) to participate, and there is a limit of 4 entries per household, which also means 4 entries per address. Thank you.

I also find it pretty poor practice that me, my wife and two 18yr+ children sent out mailings (4 per person) based on your terms posted and then they are changed. I told my brothers about it as well and their families sent in as well. Guessing lot of people steer clear of BWW after being screwed over from a posted promotion that is changed after they do it. I get their are rules to a promotion, but changing after the thing starts is just plain poor business.

Just spoke to my brothers about this and they told friends and they and their families did the promotion as well. You guys are going to have a lot of upset people on your hands (or just avoiding your restaurants) if you do not honor your stated terms.

Anyway I am going to stop getting worked up about this and just base my actions and future conversations based on how this turns out.

Im sure when the markets open on Friday morning BWLD will be down significantly due to you and your friends disappointment.

No offense, but dude.... Yes, they will probably have people who are mad, regardless of anything they do or don't do-- you're an example of that. Instead of being grateful for the promotion, you try to exploit it and get mad when they change the contest. If you're being real with yourself, the passive aggressive comments on these forums aren't going to do anything, so just relax, realize you're getting $20+ in free BWW, and move on with your life.

I highly doubt that, and really expect no one at BWW to even care (or know) that they botched up this promo. Just expressing my point of view to a supposed employee from there.

Not sure why you took the time to feel this important enough to write to me though?

I am grateful, which is why we participated (following the rules stated...NOT exploiting). Thing is my family of 4 spent $16 in postage and will likely get nothing back because of violating the terms that were changed after we mailed them. Or will they still send 4 back to us?

Great, $20 in postage to get $20 in cards, just because they couldn't write a coherent sentence.
No worries. Send them all in. I doubt they will be able to enforce their rules. I myself plan on sending in $20-$30 worth of stamps. I am sure I will get all that I send in.

I knocked out all four of mine to throw in the mail tonight.

I hope the BWW rep sees that people still remember being denied. These are the only things that will get me in the door, so if I get nothing I will NEVER give BWW my business. We have one I pass almost daily.
