of course 3 people showed up in line behind me so she got flustered. she kept talking to herself "ok i used these so ill put them away.." I was cracking up inside but just was polite to her

I'm not gonna lie...this is exactly why i don't have the nerve to use the sco lol. Sorry to hear things went like that...I would try maybe doing a little smaller runs....one dove one cws with other legit q's so they aren't so obvious.

Whenever I have a big run with a lot of coupons and people come in line behind me, I politely tell them that my order could take a while, you might want to go to another line. Then I show them my stack of coupons and they say "Oh" and walk away.

But then you also have the idiots that don't listen and stay and then huff and puff the whole time because it's taking 20 mins for me to check out.



UGH! I spent almost 2 hrs at freakin WM tonight, thanks to DD who wasn't listening, she turned an hour trip into 2 hrs! I took some time looking at different things, bar codes, peelies (none to be found) and finally gather up my stuff and head to the SCO. NONE of my darn P&G coupons would scan!!!

The first one I thought, maybe it was catching some of the other bar code, so I tried another. Nope, same thing. It kept saying something like "set this coupon aside and an associate will help you" and then I press the ok button and try another one. Same thing! I'm like, WTF?!!? Why aren't these damn things scanning? I tried folding it in half, covering the right side with my fingers....nothing worked!

And this whole time, this stupid lady behind me is putting her stuff on the belt and standing RIGHT next to me! Not at the end of the belt where you put your stuff on, but right freakin next to me! I wanted to say, "Hello...you're in my space here! Would you mind backing the f*!k up?" But I didn't...sigh.

Anyway, I get to the end of my coupons and none of the P&G have scanned and I'm at my free toilet scrubber q's so the cashier comes over to enter them. Then she asks if I have anymore and I just had 2 $1 P&G q's. She stays and I try to scan them, of course they don't scan. She ended up just manually entering them, but man....2 freaking hrs wasted! I ended up returning the stuff my coupons wouldn't work on, which was basically everything I went there for. Only kept a few things. No way I'm paying full price for TP, KWIM?

Soooo, any ideas why these coupons wouldn't scan? They scanned fine last week.

I've heard that word used before, but the way she put it just made me - guess I've never seen it in print before!

I used to get 2 or 3 copies of that Kraft magazine before we moved from Hawaii and they haven't forwarded it so I'm gonna have to sign up again - here's the sign up

Today was a good day indeed. I found hella good tearpads (lots) and had a good mail day. Got a coupon order and my Kraft magazine with a FREE for Kraft dressing.

Also, my 13 DD has Alien Ant Farm "Glow" blastin on the cd player. I AAF!!! Oh, on to the next track..."These Days"

I have the same issue. What I usually do is run to the bathroom right before checking out, gives me a chance to scope the cashiers and take a few deep breaths and chill. Works for me, may not work for you. Unless I see a fab one with a short line, then all bets are off and I just try not to concentrate on how hard I have to pee.
But I have to say, now with my inventory, I get annoyed if I have a bad run due to the waste of time/gas but I know all in all I still came out ahead on an overall basis. Helps to put everything in perspective.

I get so thirsty shopping I drink a lot of water and that is me at the check out squirming and hoping they can scan faster. I really should go to the bathroom before check out. I swear once I almost peed my pants it took so long to check out, ya know when they have to check the bags, which is fine, just not when I have to pee that bad.

Getting married, once you have put the dress on you have to pee every 5 minutes
Having a baby, once they put ya in the gown and bed you have to pee every 5 mintues
Checking out at Target with a gazillion coupons...definitely have to pee every 5 minutes!

I thought Kroger limited to 2 like coupons to be able to double too. The last time I was in Indy I had a bunch of .50 Sobe Life coupons and it was on sale for $1.00. They doubled all I had to $1.00! I asked, and was told there was no limit. I checked out at the SCO and the cashier had to enter all my coupons. I did 12 the first time, and all 12 of my coupons were doubled. I brought those to the van and came back in and got 16 more! Again, all my coupons were doubled.

So true! And I'm three days late and my boobs hurt and I have to pee so bad and now I'm @ checkout thinking just please scan my coupons and let me get out of here and go home! The girls have never felt like this w/pms... I keep thinking, I'm just late, just late, I said I was done! All that durex and DH just doesn't like it all that much.

OMG, no need to worry until you are at least a week late. Every farking month I have the same PMS oh so similar to preggo symptoms. I hate it!!!! The pee-ing, the overly sensitive breasts, the wanting to eat the house out, the I am the devil you better get away from me, lethargy, you name it I got it and intensely! Then it comes...the week I want to be knocked out with a rubber mallet or shot in the head. Once it comes I wish I was preggo!
