We just finished Making a Murderer...it wasnt bad.
What else is really good right now? I'm eyeing The Expanse, but not sure my wife would be able to handle it.

For real watch Mr. Robot!!
lol thanks
Speaking of which...
About to finish Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, it had it's moments but there was a lot of fluff in there too. Got a lot of housework done while listening to it.

Mr. Robot is on my list, but doesn't sound like it has hit Netflix yet.
To the OP:
Dexter... if you haven't watched it already.
My recommendations:
Mr. Robot [usanetwork.com]
Master of None [netflix.com] (If you like Louie CK, you will love this)
Fargo Season 2 [fxnetworks.com]
Anyone started watching Colony [usanetwork.com]? (created by one of the creators of Lost and features "Sawyer") - seems ok so far
Black Mirror is a series i'll continue to bring up. its episodes are all standalone and set in the near-future, exploring our interactions with technology and how it shapes (and could shape) our relationships and culture. the first two episodes are interesting without being terribly memorable, but the third one is absolutely gripping, and it stays good in season two.
it's not new, but i'm rounding into the last season of Justified, and it is excellent. the first season and a half are kind of rough as they tried to make a more traditional procedural, but the writers figured out they had interesting enough characters/situations to focus on long arcs, and it improved appreciably after that.
Rick and Morty is worth a watch if you haven't checked it out yet. lots of slapstick sci-fi with well-timed and executed moments of real emotion and drama.
i really, really wanted to like The Last Man on Earth, but i'm struggling to not give up on it about halfway through the first season. i'm really hoping it gets better once the cast gets rounded out, but it's borderline painful to watch at this point.
I just finished Continuum
Also watching Limitless, pretty interesting and funny at times, very different from anything else on TV at the moment.
