Dear Neighbor

Complete this sentence with what you want to say to your neighbor, but won't.

Here is mine: Dear Neighbor, if we don't answer the phone please don't drive down here to see if we are home. We are, we are just ditching you due to your constant neediness.

seriously... sigh
Restraint. What an interesting concept. Scratchchin

I'd be out there in a minute with the pressurized water fire extinguisher giving that little farker a 100mph bath. If that didn't stop the barking then I would do the same to the dog.

laugh out loud Yeah I blame the owners..not so much the dog but it does make me not appreciate the little ones as much as the big ones. Although the little corgi in the office has me wrapped around his paw.

At first I thought.. I keep saying it barks for an hour.. maybe it's really like 20 min but feels like an hour..but no. Last night I checked.. it was still going on over an hour later...

There is a special place in hell (and I'm an atheist) for owners of little yappy dogs who leave them outside and let them bark for hours on end. It's like the people who allow their children to scream and throw fits in public and act like it's not happening and force the rest of us to have to endure it. There are many people in my neighborhood who have little yappy dogs. My boyfriend often tries to sleep during the day but it's difficult due to all of the barking.

Yes, it does take a serious amount of effort not to do that...my teeth may be damaged from me grinding them instead of going out and yelling at them or the dogs or both!

I like this. A LOT

The Dogs are behind my house, the people that live next to them (behind the neighbor to my right) are DiscJockey's for local Radio.

The now are doing an endorsement for a window company having gotten new windows and one of the main selling points is how quite they are!!!
At the end of the commercial you hear a couple of ankle biters barking and then the sound of a door slamming shut and then the dogs can't be heard!!!

Subway or Quiznos? Both toast.

Dear neighbor, (across the street a few houses down) turn your music down. It's 3:30am. You really have no respect for anyone but yourself. I'm getting so tired of this. The police won't do anything.

My next step is to send you a letter, perhaps.

Sheesh. No idea.

It's not a trailer park... We live in a house, however they are very close together. You can almost outstretch your arms and touch the next house. The idgets with the music are across the street, four houses down. *sigh*

Dear Neighbor,

Muzzle them little ankle biters will ya?

I swear the second they open the door they come out and bark/yap/bark up a storm like there was an intruder right there in their yard!

It's good that my rifle is up in Oregon...as some high speed lead poisoning would befall them.

Now... put a leash on them and walk by my house and they are sweet as can be, well behaved and they get petted by me if the owner stops.

I could see if they lived up against the greenbelt with bike trail that sees quite a few walkers, riders and dogs getting walked go by...sure they would bark to protect their territory, but in ankle biter's case, they just back up to my yard and the next door neighbor's yard...that's it.

I can see 1 or 2 barks...but 20 minutes at a time...wtf?
One of our dogs has a war with squirrels. She will sometimes run outside barking because she thinks there might be a squirrel. Fortunately when there actually isn't one, it's just one bark and she's quiet the rest of the time. But when there are squirrels, she's terrible.

Though we try to be decent neighbors, and won't leave her out there barking forever. We'll let her get a few minutes of running around barking, and then call them in.

That's reasonable, but having the dog barking outside incessantly all night isn't, like a neighbor right across the alley does where I live.

If there was actually something besides their own shadow to bark at...I could understand it...but there isn't anything!
