A fun little word that I've had to learn in the last week.
Guess who is going in for surgery number 13?
At least I think it's 13.. I kind of lost track along with body parts..but this time I get some shiny new parts added like metal cage and screws..
Anyone have experience with this? Do tell...

but hell yeah give me more pain meds. The dilaudid that they had me on in the hospital after the last big surgery was some really strong stuff.

Went to the primary Dr today to get tests ordered for pre-op...and to go over reg. 6 month blood work...
Well my thyroid levels are so low she says I might have to postpone surgery S.O.B
So... we're increasing my thyroid meds and although it takes 6 weeks to hit the zone we're hoping that having me back in 2 weeks for more blood work will show it in the safe zone.
And because I didn't drink enough water (and most of the veins in my right arm are getting scarred up -they cannot use the left).. they had a hell of a time getting the 7 vials of blood for the other tests. Went through the back of my hand and finally through my wrist.
I'm tired, hurt, been used as a pin cushion... and annoyed.
I hope I don't have to postpone this..not that I WANT to have surgery but dammit .. stressing for 3 weeks is more than long enough tyvm.

I may go through some kind of SD withdrawal during the 2-4 days in the hospital. Oh yeah.. I'll have my phone. :wipes brow:
