A fun little word that I've had to learn in the last week.
Guess who is going in for surgery number 13?
At least I think it's 13.. I kind of lost track along with body parts..but this time I get some shiny new parts added like metal cage and screws..
Anyone have experience with this? Do tell...

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
First week due to just huge pain and trying to stay knocked out for the duration... the week after getting home has been up and down..mostly down...due to after effects that the body goes through from a major surgery.
Looking in here even when I couldn't reply helped... So thanks to all of you very much
For the record... most of those ups and downs have evened out... small fever during the night last night but not too bad. And I walked up the small hill to the mailbox and back with my walker (only like 160 yards round trip) without any trouble...
The incisions (about 10 inched in back and about 5 in front) still hurt but the pain that was in my hips and legs, pre surgery, is gone so the surgery helped a lot..now I just have to let the fusing happen correctly and allow all of the nerves to get used to having the proper room and relax and I'll be better than

Dorothy: Thank God you went to a specialist.
Blanche: He said no physical activity for a week, I have to wear a corset and stay on my back with my legs elevated.

No fever last night so that's a step in the right direction..but now I am breaking out in hives and a rash on my inner wrists ... most likely from the length of time they have me on antibiotics..so I stopped them last night and need to call the Dr today. *sigh*
