A fun little word that I've had to learn in the last week.

Guess who is going in for surgery number 13? laugh out loud
At least I think it's 13.. I kind of lost track along with body parts..but this time I get some shiny new parts added like metal cage and screws.. Whee

Anyone have experience with this? Do tell...

So, she's still alive? Cause if Schooby kicks the bucket and Serra manages a hostile (albeit miniature) takeover, it would be an unmitigated disaster.

The Lounge would be nothing but Justin Bieber posts and Twilight quotes, there'd be a 3-foot height maximum for all SD employees so everyone knew how Serra felt, and Iconian would be promoted to 'Executive Pool Boy'. Cold

I think we can all assume his work uniform would be that green borat swimsuit.

Let's just all wish Schooby a safe and speedy recovery...

My mom was taking an antibiotic a couple weeks ago, Cipro something or other and she broke out in the worst hives, she couldn't even take the whole prescription it was so bad. I know another person this past couple weeks who had the same issue with that medication. (Don't know if that's what you're on...just sounds miserable to be taking something that's supposed to be helping and then it gives you hives.)
It was cephalexin.. likely the same family...
The new one is sulfur based and the hives have gone away thankfully.

Yikes, hives suck. Your immune system is probably a bit weak from the surgery.

<<< not a Doctor; just acts like one in the Schooby thread Whee
Yeah I think I was/am just so worn down and pumped with too many meds... overload. blah. hug

So Cephalexin is a cephalosporin - Keflex, rocephin, etc. Cipro is a Flouroquinolone. If you had a problem with cephalexin I suspect you are penicillin allergic as well...Just getting caught up on this. Glad you are okay!

Yeah I think it was just the length of time I was on them while my system was so stressed... I don't normally have a reaction to antibiotics..

Good morning VF Smilie

laugh out loud The in-home nursing ended yesterday sine my BP is normal again and the back incision is almost done draining...

She did commiserate about all of the ups and downs... and said that she tends to forewarn patients of some things that could happen during the first couple of weeks of recovery.....and all of them happened to me laugh out loud Guess I am an overachiever Flex hahaha
