We are retiring our iPhones

My wife and I have the iPhone 4S. The latest patch 9.2.1 (I think) fixed most of the problems that IOS9 introduced to our phones but they are still slow and lag at just about anything.

These phones are getting old anyway, so.

We want something newer and we are considering the BLU [amazon.com]

My question is "does anyone have any experience with the BLU Android phones. I checked the reviews forum but I didn't find anything there.

Spend $150-199ish on a last-gen like HTC One M8, Galaxy S5, etc.

I had a blu studio before, as far as I can tell it's generally software/OS unsupported, doesn't really get OTA updates, rebranded chinaphones.

I agree. If you are changing from iPhone to Android, don't disappoint yourself to the point that you will want to go back. Get something that is actually better than the phone you are switching from.

Another option is last year's flagship phones. Not a lot of differences between last year and this year for most of them, except for price.

The phones worked great on iOS 8.2 then apple pushed out iOS 9. I guess I should have not trusted Apple, obviously they tested 9 on 4s but they are the ones that broke our phones functionality it wasn't me. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
