Just a heads up that CowBoom [cowboom.com] is no more and it will now be Best Buy Outlet.

Oh we know. Cowboom was a secret of sorts though. Most folks don't know about it hence why we can snag killer deals. Now that it'll eventually be a featured link on the main BestBuy site, there will be millions more eyeballs and less opportunities for us. Competition will surely drive prices higher and availability lower.

This is sad news indeed.

I suspected something was going on when I could not find deals on certain laptops anymore for last few weeks and when they didn't have usual sale on Washington's BDay.

RIP! I've got some awesome deals from them! End of an era! Best Buy will never have such deals.

Are you kidding? Best Buy had their logo near the Cowboom banner on the CB site.

Best Buy Outlet already existed to my knowledge and the deals weren't nearly as good. Essentially, a place to get good deals has probably vanished.

Best deal I ever got on the site? $160 ps4 just 7 months or so after it released. It was new. I mean they said used, but the thing was still wrapped up and had no wear. Like winning the lottery. Some got them even lower, like $140. There is a slickdeals thread about it from then. Don't have the link though but I participated.
