Just a heads up that CowBoom [cowboom.com] is no more and it will now be Best Buy Outlet.
All items on CowBoom's site is OOS. All items are being consolidated to BBO. Currently the sign in system on CowBoom is not working. If you have any issues contact CowBoom directly here [cowboom.com].

As of now -- this blows.
I'm so glad I downloaded 7690 and archived it, just ten days ago.

Think about this:
- When was the last time you got a good 90% off seasonal item at Target?
- When was the last time you stacked a 35% off Open Box coupon over an already discounted gadget?
It used to be that things like After-Holiday Markdowns would go untouched in the back of the store or that Open-Box BB items would be forgotten on a shelf so they'd end up couponing and clearancing them out for dirt cheap. But once they started advertising to the "casual" bargain hunters then we're seeing Valentine shelves cleared out at only 30% off and ridiculous 5% off discounts for Open Box iPads.
Cowboom was great because we were competing with other fellow cheapskates so they'd have to lower prices to get us to buy. But Best Buy Outlet is going to aim for the folks who think 10% off retail is a steal. And thats going to suck for us.

I can see your point there.
Although the best deal I ever got was the surface pro 3 at best buy. Stacked 4 separate deals. Loved that thing
A tad wrong. Your dates are right, but Cowboom was founded after they were Best Buy. Started in South Orange County. Initial warehouse was in Laguna Hills.-Ed
The name was thought up in 2008, but the site didn't start up until later in 2009.
