I think they did away with this. I asked Citi before buying the MacBook Pro. If I used the card, I would no longer get that 3rd and 4th year warranty.
Can a Costco manager/exec confirm?

Is there another credit card without an annual fee that offers higher than 3% cash back on restaurants?
With this being managed by Citi, do others also think that we can generate virtual credit card numbers for this card?

They probably will find out at some point and when they do, most likely they will switch your card to a regular Citi account and charge you the annual fee, and you'd lose all the benefits associated with Costco.
Costco cut ties with Amex because Amex wanted to give lower percentage cash back on the categories while Costco wanted them to go up for their customers. Since they couldn't see eye to eye, costco cut ties and put it up for bid and Citi bank outbid everyone.

I been reading on the web that it might be discontinued as of 09/01/2021 but everyone that have the card prior is grandfathered in with the deal. I logged onto citi website and check for my costco card benefits and it does show the 24 months extended warranty since I have the card since 2019.

You will not receive a credit card reward certificate if your reward is less than $1 or your account is closed at the time your credit card reward certificate is scheduled to be sent; any Costco Cash Rewards that had been accrued at that time will be forfeited. You must maintain your Costco Membership to redeem your credit card reward certificate.
