I'm sure it's been mentioned and buried but extended warranty benefit goes away next month which sucks
Uhh yeah I have an Amex, this is not true lol
I'm sure citi fought hard in the bidding process to beat Amex to get the Costco account. Part of the terms were probably to offer better benefits for the customer....

What will happen to my Amex Costco? Will it be disabled soon after receiving the new Citi Costco?

Where'd you hear this? I'd like to keep an Amex card as I really enjoy their benefits.
They sent me a mail abut a month ago. I have no idea what the benefits of the new card will have. Doesn't matter to me anyway, I have 4 AmEx cards already.

Awesome card.

Can't wait to apply for it.

I spend a lot on restaurant and have been looking for a card that gives good cashback on it. 3% is way better than the 1% I've been getting on other cards.

Have Amex blue (old one with 6k threshold before 5% gas, groceries, drugstores kick in), chase freedom, discover.
Capital one too but only for zero foreign transaction fee.

I don't think so, 3% is pretty high on restaurants, and 4% on gas. The cards with rotating categories will beat these for 1/4 of the year, for example Freedom offers 5% on gas right now until April 1, but I don't think there's a 4% yearly gas card for no fee.

Pretty good card, it looks like

penfed credit union has a 5% on gas cc year round, no annual.

What is the difference between the consumer and business card? On Amex Costco, business gets you 1% more cash back on gas.

In a survey (May-Jun '15) of where customers spend the most per visit, Costco was at the top ($136) followed by Sam's Club ($81), Target ($62), and others ....

A great example of Corporation that looks out for its customers (negotiating using the power of its position) and not being greedy, along with making the shareholders happy.

if they are making big bucks with this then Amex wouldn't have given it up so easily.

Amex is cutting all the lower profit stuff.
Lower profit stuff? They lost nearly 40% of their cards. Just take a look at their stock: double digit drop-off.

If not mentioned I'll imagine it'll have a 3% fee, just like the costco Amex.
