So I get mine removed in the morning. I hear it's more or less routine and that we don't technically need them. So I'm giving mine up.
I'm going to ask that the put it in a jar so I can bring it home.

Interestingly, my throat and ear hurt the worst, followed by my shoulder.
They wouldn't let me keep my gall bladder in a jar.

When my dad had his appendix out, his shoulder hurt more than anything. Dr. told him it was gas. I thought that was odd but I guess it can hurt there.

It's gas from the anesthesia that gets trapped in the muscles.. tends to collect in the shoulder.
Feels like the bones are being stretched apart... hurts like a SOB.

The shoulder pain is getting worse, but my wife just picked up my Lortab, so that should help.
