I have a friend who works for a large chip company. Before she moved away, she used to give me free samples and some were the ones that they tested and decided to not sell. One sample of a potato chip had no flavor at all, it tasted of nothing. Was really weird.

Fritos Honey BBQ flavored, shaped like race cars! We'd take 'em and scoop plain cream cheese...ok, I would do it but man they were good...

Now I've only seen the twisty things and they don't even taste the same - almost like they are rice crisp straws instead of corn chips...

Oh wow. I loved Fanta Red Creme Soda as a kid and looked for it for years. Finally got confirmation that it was discontinued. That was a sad, sad day. Weeping

My ultimate favorite lunch food every day in the summer was good ole Mac & Cheese Mug-o-lunch. I still miss those things!

And the best artificial snack food, especially on long car trips was Planter's Cheez Balls. Nothing like 'em!
