And we're going to use the extra coupons to buy spare meeters, with or without WAGS overage. Every time I register one I get 20 free lancets. And it's good to have the spares in various places. I'll log back on tonight to see if SD59 was successful at WAGS. It's pouring rain here and the baby is only catnapping so can't run out now. Probably will be tomorrow before we take him back in if I can find time.

I can't keep up with the PM's, thanks again for all the support everyone. You ladies are all fantastic, especially the ones who have diabetic kids. Makes me feel less alone.

I wonder if there's a high divorce rate for parents of kids with diabetes. Since the diagnosis, I want to hang DH from our tree in the yard that's about to topple over.

Ok...so I just have to vent. I had the most mortifying experience ever today. I was so pissed I was literally seeing red! Dh decided we should go to the flea market and sell some of our excess stock pile as we could use a little extra cash right now(who am i kidding? We always could lol). We did okay, not as well as I wanted but it was super slow.

So these two ladies come up to my table and I was only half listening to their conversation. The lady was talking about the aveeno we all got paid for at target lol and she was like yea it's real easy to just stick and your purse and go....so I'm thinking she's talking about the convenience of the size, right?? And then her friend goes yea look at all the small little items (freakin covergirl eye shadow from the walgreen's deal) she's like that is just way to suspicious, I'm sure it's really easy to steal. These two B*TCHES we're discussing in FRONT OF MY FACE about how I was stealing this stuff. I look the lady right in the eye and I said would you like to see my receipts?? She looked really ataken back and was like what?? I said would you like to see my receipts? I don't steal I PAID for all of this. And of course her and her friend stuttered and back tracked and of course they denied they were talking about me.

It makes me so angry and upset even thinking about it now. It sucks b/c there are certain circumstances in life that you can't control and you have to do the best you can with what you have and when someone basically makes you feel like the scum of the earth over it, it just really sucks. I work over 40 hours a week to support my family and we're doing everything we can to think "outside the box" to make our financial situation better.

The only thing that kept me going today was a lady came up literally two minutes later and was just enthralled and she knew I used coupons and wanted to know all about it and even wanted to see my coupons lol. I shared a little with her, but a lady's gotta have her secrets lol.

Hello everyone, my first time in Target chit-chat. I have read the last few pages and praying for double's son, poor thing.

Have a quick question, has anybody bought Electrsol anywhere besides Target--cheaper? At my closest store, it costs $2.79, minus coupon take it to 54 cents but then I have to add the 50 cents that I paid for the coupon and my total oop is $1.04. Six months ago, that would have been just great---but now with SD in my life--I want free or almost free. Any suggestions or other stores to try?

I am struggling to keep up with four kids on summer vacation, a bazillion extra bucks soon to expire and an insatiable urge to go to Target everyday!

I don't know where you live or if there is a dollar general nearby but I *think* I heard they have small boxes at dollar general for right around $2.25.

Hi ladies. Logged on real quick to post a note in the trading thread. There is no way I can read posts and catch up, perhaps when he goes to sleep tonight.

He is home now, has to go back in on Monday. He is nowhere close to stable but the inpatient wasn't necessary as we can monitor him here. We are also calling the doctor every day to give them the results. He is officially a Type 1 diabetic.

Nice to have support, thanks for all the well wishes ladies. You are all such a great support group.

that is the same one i tried yesterday that said it was expired. i tried it again today though and it took $5 off every book in my cart (if the book was under $5 it became free). but after spending more than 4 hours in the checkout process i just couldn't handle the insanity of the site anymore and gave up. i also found i have 2 charges for this transaction pending in my online bank statement. no order status to view online and no confirmation page ever loaded and no confirmation sent through email.

so tomorrow we'll see if the order actually processed for the 2 times I was charged. if not, i very well could be spending another 4 hours on the phone getting them to fix it. as it is, even if they did go through i will need to have one of them canceled because i only wanted the 1 order.

i'm glad a lot of people were able to get it to work for them though. i'm just sad it turned out to backlash on me. (i've never been charged like this before by a website with no confirmation that my order actually went through )
so we'll see. if i'm lucky they did go through. if not.. i'm out on this deal. already have 4 hours banked into it, not willing to spend more than that tryinI

So sorry it was rough on you, I processed two orders, thankfully I have two emails, I forgot a needed school book the first time, so I got a book dd has to have for school for $1.99, I only had to errors while processing my orders, guess I got in on it early enough. I just wish dh had time right now to browse for himself

Haven't checked my bank account, but sometimes that happens, check your borders account and see if it shows two pending transactions. No need to wait on the bank you can see if there are any on the Borders site under account info.

Glad you got orders in SIlly...I spent 5 hrs Fri night browsing and making an order (nothing else to do when sitting in the ER, ), finally got through to the last step in checkout and kept getting an error. Finally at midnight and mom was being released, I gave up.

Then, I tried it again last night, spent 2 hrs off and on making a small order, and kept getting server errors & temp, unavailable errors. I gave up at midnight again and went to bed. I thought the first order might have gone through, but I checked my borders account and there's nothing there. No free books for me.

I really think it is probably a time of day thing, I did mine in the morning before noon. I may just shop for some books for xmas gifts today.
