There are also Homework helper books by McGraw-Hill staff. I know books by that company are used in schools. I only looked for Pre-k and K through 1st grade so not sure how high they go up, grade wise. The Pre-k ones will be good for some of you in a yr or so.

  • If you don't take any at all, you WILL regret that forever.

i did find that going online around 2am was a bit faster and I was charged after the very first try (though not technically completed checkout). so yes i agree going during 'off' hours will help.

ok.. need some help deciding. going to go for the books again. BUT do i try to get the same ones as before (for which there are charges that may or may not go through but i REALLY want to get the ones i chose first time around), or do i make different picks just in case the first transactions actually go through? (but if they don't, and the new transaction does, i won't be getting the ones i wanted most)

gah! i should just shut up and do it already.

Has anyone successfully been able to get a Borders order through with email confirmation in the past 24hrs that has not been cancelled? I, like many of you, have spent way too much time loading up on books and I keep getting the "enter a valid billing address" error. I've used a different email, address, cc and so on, so I have no idea what to do next. I managed to enter one last night, but got a cancellation notice immediately after. My after total is $27 too and it is less than 15 items. Just curious as to what all of you are experiencing.

Mom just got out of surgery and back to her room. She's too out of it to get any info. and I missed when the doc was in. All I know is they took the rod out and put antibiotics in. I'll have to wait until tomorrow for more info.

I hope your mom is doing better. Those infections can be very aggressive, I hope she does well with the antibiotics. hug
