They are 10.99 at my store

Can you hide your stash and just put out a small amount that you are comfortable with her taking? If not, I'd tell her that some of the stuff wasn't free and that you need to get back what you put into it, via tax deduction. That simple. It's your stuff you own it. Have a bag set aside for her and don't get swayed, it looks like you stood your ground well last time.

Has anyone actually used the goodnites peelies yet? I have a ?
I used a goodnites peelies yesterday, send me your question

I just had a mommy day out, no kids, got to shop, and got my haircut, and only 1 panicked phone call from the hubby about the baby. Oh and he managed to give the baby a bath, all by himself, I am soooo proud of him (note the sarcasm).

I guess techinically the Fur Fighters Target q doesn't expire until 30 days from yesterday, but I know they beep and beeps make them look and looking makes them notice the date, etc. Smilie
The tq for the fur fighter doesn't expire til 8/15 - it's the mfg q that expired yesterday, although there are insert q's (that not everyone got) that are good for a few more months.

We are running out of storage space. laugh out loud Some of the diapers have no place to hide but a stack in the corner of babies room. That is a great idea though for the diapers to just tell her I got a good deal on them but am hoping to make some of it back on the ones I don't give to friends or neighbors. I appreciate the advice.

[QUOTE=NCmommy;12339831]I'm a little stressed now to have her coming, especially with my diaper stash. Any ideas on how to handle that? I mean, we did stock up on a few packs in case we have another but I *really* don't want to say that and get her hopes up and having her constantly ask us about that either.....QUOTE]

I had the same situation already with my diaper stash. Between Wags and T, I have around 150 packs of dipes/wipes/pullups, which I know I won't use up before DS is PT. She stopped by the other day, and was amazed to see the pile, and started to "just grab a few packs of each" for my SIL, since I had plenty to spare, in her words. I told her that she was welcome to take one pack, but I was going to keep the rest around to see what I need before I give any away, and that I would be sure to let my SIL know if I had any leftovers. My best friend just had a baby also, and those packs will be going to her before anyone else, but I didn't see the need to start an argument.

As far as your non-diaper stash, I would just tell her it's all been spoken for already, but you will keep her church in mind for anything you'd like to donate in the future. Good luck!

Definitely stack in the baby's room, that's a good idea.

What about under the beds? In vents? Under your clothes in closet?

I would hide as much of the stash as possible. I would also tell her a lot of the items you have were not free, it required a lot of hard work clipping coupons and matching up with sales. Yes that would bother me. You could also tell her you know people who are expecting and are thinking of making diaper cakes for them. Those things take a lot of diapers.
I am looking for SoBe coupons if anyone has more than they can use I am willing to trade some of my $10 Nexxus q's. If you shop at K this is a awesome Q!

Thanks for letting me vent anyway.

Lock the doors, turn off the lights, put out the "house for sale" sign, and hide in your basement! Rofl2

Sorry, it's Friday and I have to keep myself happy somehow.

Stand firm and don't let guilt be your guidance.

Thanks! I'm so glad you can identify. I'm really not trying to be stingy but I work hard for this stuff and it makes me happy to decide what to do with it myself...and like you said, there is also an order of priority. One of my best friends just had a baby who underwent heart surgery. The live 2000 miles away but I'd like to save some to share with her when I see her again.

laugh out loud You have all the bases covered, don't you!! Under beds - check. Vents - can you really store things in there? Under clothes in closet - we have shoe racks there but good idea, I'll have to check out the space.

She really doesn't seem to understand couponing. My own mother clips and sends me her coupons from CA and yet my mil could never be bothered to save the inserts whole for me to pick up when we go visit every other month. She would save the CVS ads for me though??? Confused Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

You're right. Ooops...my mistake...it was just so easy to print both and go to town.....

I noted the sarcasm! I have the same here......'Go out, have some you time!" 15 minutes later, phone rings......."Uhhhh, when are you coming home?"

ds: thanks abt the goodnites..

ncmommy: u r not being stingy...u have worked hard for this stuff, u decide who gets it...that reminds me when i was newly married and was going back home to india, i had purchased like 20-25 nail paints, lip gloss etc to give as gifts to my family....so i showed my mil and asked her to choose the colors she liked for herself and my SIL...my MIL kept everything....EEK! then i had to politely tell her that had wanted some of it for my cousins and family ...she is like oh yes u have 2 cousins who are teenagers, u can keep 2 of the nailpaints and lip gloss...i learnt my first lesson of marriage....

on another note why dont u send the diapers and other stuff here..i can stash them for u...Wink

I have a full bathroom that I dont use upstairs, as the shower is slanted so my hubby wont fit, so I store all my diapers, paper towels and TP in there behind the shower curtain, you would never know unless you peeked
