I know... you're close by, but not this close. Smilie Funny thing is that as soon as I loaded the page and skimmed the list, I thought, yep - Target 75% toy clearance!
I actually got home last night and searched CL to find Soph more VTech games laugh out loud I was hoping someone had bought them at 75% off and then wanted to sell them for cheap, but nope, nothing is listed now Frown I will check the other T's around and then when I go to MT I will check there as well Smilie I don't have a huge rush, since I am prob not going to give it to her for another year or so, but I do want to have games available for her when I do laugh out loud

Quick check in while baby in bath. I did go to T today and did 2 runs, got my pampers done. I did find some clearance toys but they were in regular aisles, most other toy aisles were empty or picked over. They were really stocking up the other aisles of toys. Looks like more Little People toys coming out and little tikes and lots of other stuff. Peeps will have fun.

Also I found a box of pampers size 6 easy ups for 50% off. They moved bulk over to regular sections. Weird. I didn't realize that until I already got home or I would have looked back in bulk area for more.

I am done with pampers. RIP to Always bogo, that was my favorite MFQ since I started targeting. I think my favorite TQ was the Luvs BOGO

I have a question about trading coupons that maybe you gals could help me out with.

Usually, do you trade pretty evenly with each coupons dollar amount? For example, I have $5.00 hw peelies, in trade would I then expect to get 4-5 sobe peelies for each hw?

That is going to depend on each person. I usually give about 10 times more than I receive, but I'm okay with that! I love to share! People are usually very fair in what they have to trade.

It does depend on each person and how hard the q's to find are. For me with no HW or SoBe in my region I would be more generous with trading because my only other option would be to buy from ebay and those q's are so expensive it's still paying for the SoBe! I am still desperately searching for SoBe, hoping someone has more than they can use but knowing how most of us are, more than you can use is rare. Especially when a gift card is involved. Shop till you drop baby!

Thank you. I was just wondering. I had 9 hw (the ones from the pb) and I was offered 10 or 11 of the sobe for them, which I didn't think was a very equal trade.... but I could be wrong.

I guess that depends on how bad you want the sobe and if there are any available in your region. The pb can be used for overage but not the sobe so you might just tell them you feel 20 sobe would be a more fair trade, I think that would be more fair.

**brought over from deals, so we're not lynched for "clogging" up the thread! laugh out loud

Yes!! We've gone the past 2 years. We missed it this year in June (when we normally go), but they are back again in September so we will probably go then. The kids LOVED that too!! Plus there are so many other things for them to do there. They rode a couple other little trains and a caboose! Your kids will absolutely love it!! Have fun and don't forget the camera!!

edited to add: there's also a big tent with train tables set up for them to play, a little track they can ride the hand cars around, tatoos, and of course a big tent with all Thomas stuff to buy! The kids were just talking about that the other day. DS said he wants to go back to get another Thomas toothbrush that plays music for he amount of time you're supposed to brush your teeth. laugh out loud
Day out with Thomas is AWESOME! We brought our kids in June to Lancaster County, PA, and my son still remembers. He will turn 3 August 20. It obviously made a huge impression on him. Big Grin The only problem is it was blazing hot - our train was at 9:45, and by 10:20 (after our ride and buzzing through the tents), we were ready to go. We definitely got our money's worth, and would absolutely do it again. Seeing their faces when they first realize its Thomas the train in real life is priceless. nod

Just have to say - I had a "stockpile" yard sale today and totally rocked out! Got a bit of a late start (for me) due to yucky weather, and actually spent the first 30 minutes ducking in and out of the rain, but my final total was $359. That was selling from 8am until 12 noon. With heavy cloud cover for most of that time. Not too shabby! Going to do it again next Saturday as two friends who wanted to sell stuff, too, weren't able to make it. Shoot, another reason to go shopping?! I'm all over it! Stick Out Tongue

The biggest sellers were toothbrushes (Oral-B, Colgate and GUM), most cleaning products EXCEPT Windex (which I had 35+ bottles and wanted to get rid of most of all!), deodorant, and shampoo. Couldn't get rid of my 35+ boxes of Kleenex, and my wipes moved SO SLOWLY! At $3/package!

I could not believe the amount of cash people carried to go yard-saling - we had 2 different people hand us $100 dollar bills for their purchase... And at least 3 different people had $50+ purchases, all being the h&b items and cleaning supplies. Crazy!!!

One thing I wished I had stocked more of - mens toiletry items. I will definitely have to scour the deals this week for mens deodorant, shampoo, body wash, etc. Oh, and will definitely have to score some Fusion razors! We always do really well with those, priced at $5/each.

Anyway, hope you all had a great Saturday, and if you're like me, you need to get some sleep so you can be ready to shop ALL THE DEALS this week! Big Grin Wink

Oh, does anyone have experience shopping at Ulta, a beauty supply store? We just had one open up near us, and want to know the best way to work the deals... Smilie I'm pretty sure they accept MFQs, plus the ad has a $3.50/$10 purchase.

Applause Congratulations! I was amazed too when I had my sale in June. I kept thinking I was wasting my time hauling all this stuff out and would have to haul it all back in...but then the people started coming and they were all over it! My best seller hands down was toothpaste. If I had a million tubes, I would have been a millionairelaugh out loud Razors, bodywash and shampoo went fast too. Came at a great time, as my old TV died and I just didn't have the cash to buy an LCD comparable in size...I made enough to buy one, from...where else..Target (the least I could doBig Grin ) I've had the same couch for a loooong time now, so my next sale will hopefully pay for a new one. I didn't sell the huge stack of monitors I had....those I donated to a senior group.

And of course I always keep my mom supplied with just about everything. She always gets first pick!

Yea - my goal was $500, as that was what hubby said I had to make if I was ever allowed to go to Target again. Big Grin But considering the weather, late start, etc., I was VERY pleased with how we did. My best ever sale, actually.

The dumb thing is that because we were bringing things out piecemeal as the weather permitted, I didn't get the toothpaste out - didn't want the boxes to get soggy in the rain. Then once it cleared up, we were SUPER busy, and I had no time to keep stuff stocked. Oh well. That's what next week is for. Smilie

My mom and dad are coming in next week for my brother's wedding, and I already told her to save room in their van for me to fill it up. Big Grin She lives in no-man's-land in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and they never get coupons, none of the stores double them, etc., so its hard for her to get good deals. Plus its a hugely repressed economy up there. Anywho, can't wait to get her loaded up with goodies! bounce
