Scary night at my house, this may get long winded....


I am still a little shaken up by the whole thing.

WG has Benefiber for potential overage. 72 ct of 'pill' format is on clearance for $3.29 or $3.79, depending on the store. Use the $2 off manu q first, then the $2 IVC q from their book. Also, Durex is a potential overage. Some products are $6.99. Use the $5 manu q and the $3 IVC q from their book. There are these interesting ones you put in the freezer.

WG also has the new Glade clothes freshener for $2.99. There's a printable $1.50 manu q and a $1.50 IVC in their book. They also have the Glade candle for $1.99, use $1 manu q and do the rebate for $1.00, making it free.

WG has the small bags of Dove candy 2/$5. Use the BOGO Dove manu q (printable, from awhile back) and the $1.50 manu q. That makes them $1, and there's a $1 RR you'll get back. Buy the dark chocolate varieties, and use your receipts to get movie tickets. I know it's 1 ticket for $12 of candy purchase, I think it's 2 tickets for $24.

And then there's the Axe travel size body wash, buy 4 at $1.59 each, get a catalina with a code good for two movie tickets. Someone said there's a $1 Axe coupon at Dollar General, but I was there today and didn't see any. I'd be VERY interested in getting my hands on a few dozen of these, if anyone happens to see a little box of them.

i so would be there once i knew they had been called....just because i know i'm right and now they know i'm right. go in with lots of coupons and smile smile smile. but that's just me!!

A new one opened up around here a couple of months ago. Loved it! The flyer in that Sunday's paper had a Q for a freebie bag of poo, nail polish, and hair gel, got 2 of those...and the tearpads! They had the $6 Physician's Formula bronzer and $2 Sally Hansen depilatory, virgin and untouched, brought a tear to my eye. The SH depilatory stuff was bogo also, looked like a new store promo as it wasn't on the website - the first week it rang up bogo properly but the next week it rang up at 50% off + bogo! The cashier said "well even if it's a mistake I still have to give it to you since the register scans it at that price". I went back several days later but they had fixed it by then. Ah well, their stock was pretty depleted by then anyways. I haven't been back, the prices/deals are not as good as you can get elsewhere, for the most part.

Woah - you need shutterfly peelies from either the Spy Kids DVDs or Pirates of the Carribean DVDs at T (although they were under the shrink wrap in the POC DVD at my T)!!! Good for free 50 4x6 prints, 2 5x7s, and 1 8x10 from shutterfly (can be used for existing accts).

So far I've been doing the Dove dark chocolate b/c I was afraid the stores would be wiped. And I did the Sure/school supplies, same reason (on the $.09 school supplies).

Tonight I'll go when my favorite cashier is working and do the Lifesavers and the Kelloggs.

Dove-- this is a pain b/c it's a RR deal so you have to do one set per transaction. Buy 2 bags (or also the "envelopes" that are about 6 oz work) of the Dove dark chocolate and use either 2 of the $1.50/1 Qs or (if you've got 'em) 1 $1.50/1 and 1 B1G1. You will get a $1 RR. Then enter your receipt for the rebate program and you will get $5 worth of credit towards a free movie tix. Do this 10 times and you will have 4 free movie tix. And some very PO'd cashiers!

Pert/Sure-- Pick out $5 worth (regular price) of the $.09 school supplies + $5 worth of Pert or Sure. Give them your highest value Pert or Sure MQs + the school supply Qs from the WAG flyer. Send in for the $5 MIR from last week's SS.

Kellogg's-- Buy 4 cereals that are good for the $5 RR deal + 4 or 5 (depending on which price point items you want) snacks that are good for that $5 RR deal. Then you need an extra one or two more items so you've got 10 for the Kellogg's rebate.

I'll use myself as an example. I'm going to buy 4 boxes of Special K (my favorite cereal) + 6 of the cheaper snacks. So my initial total OOP will be $22. Use your best Kellogg's Qs. I don't have any Qs on Kellogg's except the new ones from last week, so I'll be using 5 $1/2s. So then my total will be $17. I'll get 2 $5 RRs, and send in for the $10 rebate.

Lifesavers-- The bags are B1G1. Use your B1G1 qs to make them free.

I was going to skip the Glade deal b/c I have an entire overflowing cabinet of that stuff and I can't light candles anymore since my cats have this habit of sticking their whiskers in the candle and burning them off but you can get the little candles for free just by using the $1/1 Qs and sending in for the rebate.

Okay, i am so sad, Can anyone suggest something? Christmas is a very hectic time of year for me and somehow I got a $2.99 rebate check right at the new year, I get a huge container from the post office between the 2-5 of the year every year, so this check was pulled and somehow didn't make it in with my usually stack of checks, so I just now refound it this mornig, it is dated 12/27/07 and says only good for 60 days, no phone number on letter or check, am i out the $2.99?

So glad I have been saving $$ targeting but I guess it all comes in cycles because my savings just went to have neighbor's car door repainted.

I was digging around this morning looking for a folder to put our chicago stuff in (supposed to go 8/15-8/18 if we can get DS stable) and I found a drawer I forgot about of hidden toys for the holidays and his bday. I dont think I have ever been so happy to clean up a mess. Had it not been for the shelf falling I would have never seen the power strip, and who knows how long it would have lasted.

Just wanted to drop in and confirm that this worked for me yesterday. My only problem was lack of stock -- wanted a few more Pop Tarts. I might try a couple of bigger stores later on today to find more.

Here's my trip:

4 Kelloggs cereal (any on sale for $2.50 -- here, it was Smart Start, Corn Pops, Fruit Loops, Raisin Bran & Frosted Flakes)

6 Kelloggs "snacks" (any on sale for $2 -- can't remember all that was included; I was on the hunt for Pop Tarts and Rice Krispie treats)

okay everyone, thanks for the Wags discussion! totally helped me a lot. my Wags is way over on the other side of town so i don't get the ad here. always have to really on online sources (their website ad is hard for me to view - its small on the page). that said i got in on the free kelloggs, and 20 speedsticks since i had 20 coupons to use up.
i bought 10 speedsticks per transaction. yes i know that killed my profit, but its my fave kind of deodorant and likely last chance to get it for less than tax only before that coupon expires on the 16th.

amazingly there was still a bunch of stuff to choose from. quite a good selection of kelloggs left. and both stores i went to had at least 40 - 50 qualifying speedsticks in stock between all the different flavors.

now i need to work on what deals i should scheme up with these $30 in RR's i now have.

....My boss is going out of town that weekend and technically I'm in charge, he already ok'ed for me to take the saturday off, but that means i will have to drive 6 hours after i get off work friday, be there sat for the wedding...drive back either sat. night or sun. morning to work sunday night. Or I say screw it and take sunday off too and actually be able to enjoy some time. It's just so expensive to drive up there. I CAN'T not go, my mom would kill me, but I'm afraid if I take Sunday off the retards I work with will mess up shit and I'll get in trouble for taking off both days lol.

I vote for you to hand pick one of those 'tards and decide that they CAN be in charge, and can be depended on. Then, talk them up, get them to believe it's important, offer them something they want in return. Maybe something from your stash, or to trade shifts sometime when they need off?

I would bet one of them could/would do it if given the incentive. And you deserve the time off.

Remember, you must have the same amount of Qs & RRs to the same amount of RRs used. There is a way around that a little, give 1 RR 1st and that should allow you 1 less item to buy.
