I am sooooooo far behind in the deals thread. Can anyone tell me how the $1 AF coffee coupon is working? It says 12 oz but does it work on the small bags?

TIA hug

You can use the RRs, as long as they were not from the cereal deal (called rolling RRs). WAG doesn't want you to use RR to rebuy the same thing again.

Here's my plan:

Transaction #1
8 Speedstick @ $1.99 each = $16
- (8) $1 MQs = ($8)
OOP = $8, get $10 RR

Transaction #2 DO both cereals & snacks in same transaction
  • 4 Kelloggs cereal @ 4 for $10 (12-20oz Raisin Bran, Smart Start, Fruit Loops, Corn Pops, Special K or Frosted Flakes$1 off 2 Kelloggs Cereals 10oz or larger Fruit Loops, Corn Pops, Apple Jacks, Cocoa )
- (2) $1 off 2 MQs = ($2)
  • Kellogg's Snacks 5 for $10 (6 or 8 packs Nutri-Grain bars, 6 pack Special K Bars, Sandies Pecan Shortbread, Keebler Club Crackers 16oz, 8 pack Poptarts, 9oz Cheez-It crackers, 8 pack Rice Krispie Treats, Keebler Fudge Shoppe Fudge Stripe Cookies 11.5oz
+ 1 extra snack @ $2 (to qualify for MIR quantity)
- (3) $1 off 2 MQs = ($3)

Pay with $10 RR from transaction #1 = OOP $7, get (2) $5 RRs + $10 MIR

FINAL RESULT = $15 OOP, get back $10 RRs + $10 MIR = overage $6

+ a bunch of food & deodorant stockpiles
the sad part is i didn't think about rolling the $10 RR from the speedsticks into the kelloggs deal until early this morning. i was like.. Doh why didn't i think of that yesterday while i was actually there? lol
so i already did the mfg rebate once.. so that one's a wash. but i did go back this morning and do 2 more kelloggs deals with the $10 RR rolled into it to make a $3 profit. (had 2 $10 RR's from doing speedstick deal twice yesterday)

on 1 transaction i added one of those botanical/ organic shampoo FAR things for $5.99, plus 2 perts and school stuff.
on the other transaction i added just another of the organic shampoos. Stick Out Tongue
since i didn't have coupons for those organic shampoo thingies, i thought using the profits from the kelloggs would help that FAR to be better. Big Grin

it was funny.. today pickings were slimming down and i ran into another coupon lady in the kelloggs aisle. we swapped stuff around in our carts so that we both could get in on the deal and be happy with our purchases. (she did 2 deals as well.) isn't it great when coupon ladies can work together for the benefit of both? bounce

and then even funnier, we ran into each other again at CVS. but that time we weren't getting the same stuff. Stick Out Tongue

Thank you so much for posting the "WAGs deal for dummies" Big Grin

I want to try to do more WAGs deals, but need it "broken down barney style" (to quote someone from last wk) - pretty please can you keep doing these for us occasionally when there is a slick deal to be had at WAGS (free or overage deals?)

Why are men so irritating? I'd really like to smack dh right now.....He is in a wedding tommorow and NEEDS to pick his tux up today and he's taking his sweet time, which means I won't have time to do any shopping today. He tried to tell me that he was just going to pick his tux up in the morning....I said uhm are you retarded?? No, we ARE going today!

It's really not that hard. . . anyone who can master T can surely do WAG.

As far as the GC thing goes, it's all YMMV. I've done this many times, no problems. Other peeps have almost gotten kicked out of the store for it. Look for a teen cashier, someone who doesn't care too much. You know, like what we call a "jedi" at T. Big Grin

I also think it helps if you throw them in a part of a regular order and don't buy "just" the GC w/your RRs but that's JMO.
I agree, if you've got the stomach, brains and time to do T, you can surely do WG. And I have consistently gotten gc there for a variety of things we need/want. I've found it a great way to turn manu q's into gc's. Cool

i like Wags a lot. its not so much the complexity of keeping the RR's straight along with all the rebates and such. but the fact i don't get the ad, and the store is wayy on the other side of town does make it tougher to do than cvs.

but.. since i was over there getting books anyway yesterday i stopped by there. laugh out loud and then again today when i realized i could roll the $10 speedstick RR into the kelloggs i also went by that CVS.

i wish there were a Wags on this side of town though. why is it we have 0 here but there are 2 over there? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) oh well.. we work the best with what we have i guess. nod

IMO all men are irritatinglaugh out loud jk (well, not really but....) ever notice how they all run out on Christmas Eve and buy their gifts in under 30 minutes? Same thing with the Tux...it's probably something he doesn't really want to wear, so will wait till the last minute to get it...

On the Kellogg's RR deals from WAGS, be sure to read this thread, some people said they are getting double the RR's when buying 4 Nutri Grain Bars or 4 of something else (can't remember - Rice Krispy threats?). The thread is trying to be incognito and is called "are are"... laugh out loud

The August issue of Parents has a coupon for $1 off Goodnights at the very back.
If anyone has a child with ADHD that uses Concerta there is a $35 instant savings with your prescription. Not sure if that is a good deal or not, but if someone can use it let me know and it's yours. So many good ads, it would be nice to have some good coupons with them.

Cover girl is free this week bogo, use bogo from sundays paper, makes it free
have to say, this isn't the best week for cvs deals IMO. But read the deals thread as I've been a bit preoccupied and haven't been keeping up much. Also look for the August monthly deals thread and see if there's anyting there that floats your boat

Yaaa for safe travels to Ariel and Sophie!

There were TAG q's in the inserts recently - haven't seen axe ones though. There are AXE peelies in Target stores though (maybe on the sets).
You're right - I was confusing the two. Sorry! Smilie

I did the Walgreens Glade laundry spray deal today - poor cashier must have been new and was so confused. I tried to do the Dove deal, but apparently my Dove BOGO q was expired, so I had them remove them from my order. Still out of the school supplies so will have to try again. Forgot to bring my Speed Stick coupons, so a great reason to go back! Big Grin

Will be posting some coupons I have for trade so stay tuned! Big Grin
