This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

anybody over here know about the $10 IPMQ to use on kitty litter?? Would really appreciate a PM!
I totally get where those of you who were frustrated with DH were coming from. Unbelievably, mine was super this weekend, more shelves in the garage for all my goodies. It is amazing how much better it will all look when I get it all fixed up, but the garage is SO hot right now.
Congrats to all the preggies! Mine is the best little mess I ever made!!!!
Welcome to all those new to the thread.
And serious prayers to all who need them, especially laina & family.
Jen, I totally agree with you about the boys who are acting inappropriate. It is scary to be a supervisor these days, as if you don't cut the comments/actions from them quickly, or work hard to shut them down, another employee feeling sexually harassed could come back on you. Good luck with that.
Hope everybody has a great day, I've got to get to work...

1.) After the builder of our home ruined our carpeting with saw, concrete, & drywall dust, we are installing laminate on our entire 1st floor, which is about 1300sq ft. For all of you who use those swiffer type sweeper thingys, which one works best??? I am trying to determine which one to buy that goes around/under furniture easily. We have two large dogs, so fur is going to be the biggest issue.
2.) I need to stock up on 2 items for our DD 1st b-day next month. I need LOTS of soda... (coke products, some pepsi) and TP. Could someone please tell me how they are putting the coke Q to good use and which one they are using? For the other, I am just wondering if there are any good deals? I have been looking, but have not seen any.
TIA!
Steph
We have mostly hard wood/tile/concrete floors in our place. And four cats. I do a combo of the various swiffer products along with a dust buster that I use for the cat hair tumbleweeds that are inevitably floating around the place. I've found trying to sweep up the pet hair just spreads it around more-- the vacuum is the only thing that actually picks it up.
I don't know how to compare among the products (or various brands) but I use the Swiffer WetJet on the kitchen floor, alternating with actual mopping. The other floors I mostly sweep/vacuum and only wet clean every once in a while.
ETA-- About the coke Q, you might check out the Walmart thread (https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?

Except now it's going to become the baby's room so I actually have to get rid of/move everything in there, including most of the furniture.
And, since this is the southwest, we don't have a basement, an attic, or a garage. We had two sheds in the back, one of which is DH's for his lawn stuff. The other is mine, and there's some room in there, but not much. So I guess I'm going to have to do a massive de-stockpiling in the next few months.
