Believe it or not, after being gone from here for a few days, I just had to skim the posts to catch up. I just love hearing about all your little kiddos! Sounds like there's a brigade of olympians getting ready for the 2028 Olympics! (OK, so it helps the perspective to not have a little one around anymore too!)

I totally get where those of you who were frustrated with DH were coming from. Unbelievably, mine was super this weekend, more shelves in the garage for all my goodies. It is amazing how much better it will all look when I get it all fixed up, but the garage is SO hot right now.

Congrats to all the preggies! Mine is the best little mess I ever made!!!! heart

Welcome to all those new to the thread. Smilie

And serious prayers to all who need them, especially laina & family. hug

Jen, I totally agree with you about the boys who are acting inappropriate. It is scary to be a supervisor these days, as if you don't cut the comments/actions from them quickly, or work hard to shut them down, another employee feeling sexually harassed could come back on you. Good luck with that.

Hope everybody has a great day, I've got to get to work...vomit

Would like a little advice/input...please PM me with your thoughts

1.) After the builder of our home ruined our carpeting with saw, concrete, & drywall dust, we are installing laminate on our entire 1st floor, which is about 1300sq ft. For all of you who use those swiffer type sweeper thingys, which one works best??? I am trying to determine which one to buy that goes around/under furniture easily. We have two large dogs, so fur is going to be the biggest issue.

2.) I need to stock up on 2 items for our DD 1st b-day next month. I need LOTS of soda... (coke products, some pepsi) and TP. Could someone please tell me how they are putting the coke Q to good use and which one they are using? For the other, I am just wondering if there are any good deals? I have been looking, but have not seen any.

TIA! hug

Hi there--

We have mostly hard wood/tile/concrete floors in our place. And four cats. I do a combo of the various swiffer products along with a dust buster that I use for the cat hair tumbleweeds that are inevitably floating around the place. I've found trying to sweep up the pet hair just spreads it around more-- the vacuum is the only thing that actually picks it up.

I don't know how to compare among the products (or various brands) but I use the Swiffer WetJet on the kitchen floor, alternating with actual mopping. The other floors I mostly sweep/vacuum and only wet clean every once in a while.

ETA-- About the coke Q, you might check out the Walmart thread (https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=857127). There's been a lot of chat on there about uses of this Q. Good soda deals will be appearing for Labor day; don't know if you can wait that long though.

Morning all wave I hope all are doing well!!! I just realized I haven't read in the T thread in over a week, what a weird feeling laugh out loud Anyways, I am just trying to stay caught up in here and the SF chat thread, that is keeping me busy enough nod Yesterday was filled with busy SFness, so I am glad that yesterday was a day I could do that without to much difficulty! We are planning on going to the "water park" here (I think it is the city pool that was changed up a bit, but I am not sure) so hopefully we will all have fun Smilie We were going to go to Glacier National Park, but my hubby was not feeling well, so we decided to stay with the family some more Yahoo!

Good luck Stormy! I sold a bunch of size 5 Luvs on CL a while ago for $5 a pack within 48 hours. I have a pile downstairs for potential baby #2 that will help with the medical bills eventually. No time to put them on right now. Wow how did you find size 7, I haven't seen them at any of my stores

Wow, I am exactly the same way. You take that desk, make it an entire room, and that's my "study." laugh out loud

Except now it's going to become the baby's room so I actually have to get rid of/move everything in there, including most of the furniture.

And, since this is the southwest, we don't have a basement, an attic, or a garage. We had two sheds in the back, one of which is DH's for his lawn stuff. The other is mine, and there's some room in there, but not much. So I guess I'm going to have to do a massive de-stockpiling in the next few months.

you can see the other desk on the far left hand side of the one pictured. its much smaller so naturally is not in any trouble currently. there's only enough room for the printer up top (you can see it in pic), and the comp itself. its very small so it tends not to be the popular dropoff point for crap that mine is. laugh out loud
