Thanks, nice deal. It normally costs 10 for black and 15 for color. Their ink is pretty good too. I was expecting crap when I first used them, but it actually came out looking pretty much on par with the really expensive HP brand ink.

Thanks ill try this out. So I just take my empty cartridge to walgreens and they'll refill it for $5? Seems like a steal, I usually pay $15 for a new cartridge. Any downside to a refill?

I have not found a downside yet. The only issue that sometimes pops up is that they cannot refill your cartridge. This happens if it has sat too long without ink or if it won't take it. They do not charge you for the refill if that happens, though, and everytime it has happened to me they have given me a coupon for 15 free prints if I recycle my damaged cartridge. Hope this helps.

Every time I bring my cartridges in they say they're unfillable. Every single time. I went to 3 different stores during the last sale and all 3 told me their machines were broken. The last one said I could leave the ink and when it was fixed they'd call me. They called me 2 weeks later to tell me they couldn't fill them. Does this sound right to anyone? I feel like they just don't want to fill them.

Happens to me all the time. I think they're just incompetent...

I have taken in several of my ink cartridges from two different printers...same thing....can't fill them because they didn't pass "the test" I was told by the lady that does the ink filling on the cartridges that this is what happens......the machine sucks "everything" out of the cartridge and then puts in some more ink and does 3 tests to see if it can be refilled and that there is only about a 9% chance of it working......9% chance !
Not much of a chance of it happening. I think it is their way of getting the consumer into their store to shop while they wait on the ink cartridge to be filled, therefore spending more money than what they would have if they had only have gotten the ink refilled.

Well I have taken those very same cartridges, filled them up with the "self ink kit" myself and they work just fine. No problems what so ever.
