You could just buy lot's of bacon jerky and keep a bag on each floor of the house. That's what I do, except it's Pork BBQ jerky. yummy

It's made by Oberto. It's kind of pricey but a drug store in WA state carries it and I buy some when it goes on sale.

I checked Amazon and it's too expensive there. HEB and Sams Club carry it but you need to go to the websites to see if the store near you has the Pork BBQ version. I get the 3.25oz bag when it's on sale here for $4.xx but Bartell's is only on the west coast. Looks like HEB and Sams have it for under $5 as the regular price, everything here (Seattle area) is more expensive! Walgreens carries it too, if they're in your area, don't know how much it costs there.
