It's nice how a mod can post in a locked thread, but us regular folks can't. Figures they have double standards.

Nice, it got deleted.

I mod-alerted it, one of the mods deleted it.

I'm all for a fair convo though, not a mod abusing his power and quoting me in a locked thread Popcorn

That was one of my suggestions, I have one, love it. I have too many things to control (TV, AVR, DVR, Bluray, DVD player, Roku, etc.).

Gotta be helpful once a year.

I've been using a Harmony 880 for a long time now. Long enough that the original IR LEDs burned out, so I replaced them with random IR LEDs I had around the house, and then replaced those with proper spec new IR LEDs when they burned out.

You burned out not one, but TWO LEDs? Are you one of those annoying channel surfers?

It was actually a pair of LEDs each time, and it was pretty common for them to go after 1-3 years on the initial ones. The second set was scrounged from other remote controls around the house that were a near match, no telling how much use they'd already seen. I'm sure they did get a lot of extra wear from skipping commercials on the DVR though.
In short, no: not a channel surfer.
