Do you think it is wrong or okay for people to take peelies (coupons) off of items in the store when they don't ever buy that item?

After all, if there's nothing wrong with taking them, you won't get in any trouble, right?
*le snip*
It's the same as putting in one quarter in the Sunday newspaper box and removing 20 newspapers because you want the coupons, or ripping out the pages of a magazine without buying it because there's a free product coupon inside. Plain and simple, it's theft and it says a lot about your character (or lack thereof) if you do it.
As to your analogy, I don't think it's quite accurate. Ripping out the pages of a magazine DOES affect its totality and thus its value. Also, taking more than one newspaper from a machine when each paper is individually priced is clearly theft.
I also do not pass judgement on others. But, some people get off on telling others what they consider to be right or wrong. I prefer to clean my own house. The whole point of responding to this thread was the OP was so obsessed with it. It was funny. Some people however, are very intense about little peelies, and suck the fun out the thread. I imagine all those people are perfect in every way. Life is too serious in too many other ways. Lighten up a bit. Seeing as how the OP is no longer around, it's time to move on. I've got peelies to collect

The OP of this thread (who is now banned due to his antics) clearly wanted to incite debate with the post. Mission accomplished.
But neither I or anyone else that I have seen has passed judgement on those who won't/don't take peelies from items. Those who do have been called thieves and have had their morality called into question by those who don't.
Some people just like to point out that they are better than everyone else...even if *they're* the only person who thinks so (a sure sign it's not true, btw)!
PS: I went and checked out these Ponds peelies while I was at the store and they clearly say "with purchase" on them.

If your moralistic twin reappears on SD under a different username, will you report him? Or is that okay with you?
Actually, the second part of your post I agree with (I know, stop the presses, huh?).
