No seriously, LJ has a cow's milk protein allergy. His little digestive system cannot handle it and his intestines were clearly showing the intolerance. The lining of his intestine was bleeding and it was showing up in his mucus-y (yet another sign of the intolerance) and blood tinged stools.
So, I am now on a dairy free diet. You don't realize how many things have milk in them until you can't eat it.
I googled and found this...and YES everything on the internet is TRUE!

I have never been a big milk drinker. Only on cereal and I only started eating cereal daily since I had LJ as it is a fast and easy breakfast and I need to get food in me to feed him. Mini on the other hand is a HUGE milk drinker. That kid can and will drink a 1/2 gallon to a gallon a day if I let her. I make her drink lots of water too. I switched to organic a couple years ago, but we are gonna rethink the cow's milk thing. IDK how I can get that kid off the cow teet.
