Beth, I am trying to get a feel for your problem- And I have to understand a few things to really grasp the situation. But I give you my opinion on what I can follow:
- Why does everyone have to smoke in the roommate's room? I didn't follow why the cigarette's were in the roommates room, when it was the friend smoking the cig...Blunts, yes, to be discreet, but I just have to ask what the deal is with that?
- Do you have a thing for the roommate guy? I mean besides the obvious hooks, if you have a thing for him, which I am getting the vibe that you do, then I would worry about him and not the other guy
It seems like from your story that you try to put yourself in the position to be available for him, the roommate no?
By staying there, going in his room to sleep,etc...I mean we all do those little things, so to me that is a suggestive way of saying you want to hook-up with him, which sounds like is working fine.
So I say to hell, with the ex...water under the bridge! Been there done that, didn't work move on and don't let his needs get to you.
The other guy....Well, did you like him and he just didn't step up to the plate in time? I can't tell if it is all one side on his part. If so then just say that. Save him further embarrassment or the trouble of him making himself available for you. If it is just him manning up, then say that too!
And this -After I woke up, some shit happened and the apartment got weird. I either missed something or you aren't sure, but I don't know how it went from you sleeping to the drama that followed?
I hope this makes sense and I am following things but I say - Cut ties with the ex, let the other guy know you aren't interested and if it is good, then continue to fark the roommate.
