Why is it, I didn't do a damn thing worth being tired from (unlike DS's day, lol), but yet I am soooo tired! I have coupons EVERYWHERE, , wash coming out the wazoo, and just general cleaning to do and no stinkin desire to do any of it!

Jawdrop on the 69 hot dogs!!! Holy cannoli! I think I had maybe 6 of those q's. laugh out loud

hug on the sharing of coupons with the mom of 3. That was very nice of you!
i know exactly what you're thinking. i told you guys i seriously needed to gung-ho it. LMAO

there was one day like 6 weeks ago now where i was in Ralphs and one of those kraft tearpads that was nearly full just miraculously fell into my purse when i tried to only take a few. luckily for others there were still 3 full tearpads remaining after that little mishap. Whistling

but no i didn't have 69 of those coupons. the hot dogs are on special at our Albertsons buy 1 get 2 free. so.. throw in some koolaid and i was getting 3 free hot dogs for every 1 coupon. the first transaction i bought 24 hot dogs. (so.. buy 8 get 16 free) i used 1 hot dog coupon for every 4 hot dogs.. so 6 hot dog coupons. then on the remaining 2 i bought koolaid to use 2 more hot dog coupons and voila 24 free dogs after only 8 coupons.
subsequent transactions i bought 15 at a time. (buy 5, get 10 free) used 3 hot dog coupons based on the hot dogs themselves and 3 more because i was also buying 9 mac&cheese. Cool

that doesn't account for all the other koolaid i bought to get my cheese and crackers though. let's just say i ended up just pulling a box of koolaid packets off the shelf and stuffing it full with the required amount i needed. for anyone who needs to know.. if you find a box of those still in the plastic wrap it holds 48 to begin with. at least my cashiers were appreciative that i had actually counted out all the packets and could tell them how many to 'quantity key' them in instead of scanning individually. they all said there are so many people who just grab a whole box or two but don't count how many there are. laugh out loud
(my koolaid also ended up being free because of the albies deal going on the crackers, cheese and dressing. i was getting $5 off the order for every $20 of kraft items i bought. Big Grin)

so umm.. yeah. i need to find that post again with ideas for koolaid usage other than drinking. nod

the best part about it all was i didn't even begin to touch what my Albies stores had in stock on each of the kraft items. i was able to get stocked up without feeling guilty, because there was TONS of product left at each store after i was done. the only item i did clear out wasn't a kraft item. it was some more fiber one yoghurts i had gotten a 2nd raincheck of 20 for. raincheck was for $1 each so those were all free after the coupon. they only had like 3 left on the shelf after i fulfilled the raincheck. they don't let you break up the raincheck, you have to get them all at once so really i didn't see any other way around that since i coudn't ask for separate rainchecks. (this was a 2nd raincheck because 1 store was oos, and so was another so i requested rc's for 20 more at both laugh out loud)

Hehe, sounds like my life!!! But I did do some things to make me tired (tried yard-saling with little sisters, apparently no one has yard sales on Labor Day weekend!; went to thrift stores instead, and went to good-bye party/picnic for friends, oh, and made a quick trip to Target to get me some TGIF - Barb totally ROCKS!! Big Grin), just not the things I SHOULD have done. Have 2 loads of laundry on my couch waiting for me to get up the energy/motivation to fold them, plus one in the dryer EEK! , and I really should start some things in preparation for lunch tomorrow. So WHY am I sitting here at the computer??? Oh yea - because I'm waiting for my Southwestern Egg Rolls to cool off enough for me to eat them! Big Grin

Whew - that made me tired just reading it laugh out loud

Some days you just have to take the time to do all the errands that are piling up. Your DS was home with his daddy safe and sound - you shouldn't ever get reamed for anything Smilie

I did the same thing today - it feels good to get a bunch of little errands done.

Interesting! Thanks!! I don't think I've ever seen cases of anything sitting around...but I'll make sure to look next time.

I agree with Jen, Mama. Don't beat yourself up, what's done is done. Just stick with things you're comfortable with next time. hug
Yes, couldn't agree more. It's actually good, I think, to become aware of what your limits are. . cause now you know and can work within them in the future. Wink

. . . . .Type to you guys. Sort through some SF envies sitting here.
OMG, I hope you are lying down or something b/c I need to lie down after just reading that. Smilie

I did like two things this evening and felt exhausted (partially b/c at WAG my least favorite manager ever was lurking and just would not go away! Had to check out with a new cashier with the manager guy checking out at the next register-- but all was well. Smilie )

Got home, beat DH home by only like 5 minutes (little time to hide the evidence, laugh out loud) and pretty much bit his head off b/c I had planned to do yoga and clean the bathrooms before he got back. Now I'm going to try to use my laptop as a DVD player and workout in the bedroom instead of in front of our 64" TV. Frown

Don't feel bad, I went to the grocery store today and forgot my purse. Didn't even realize until I was getting out the car and had no place to put my keys. laugh out loud

i totally agree with this one. heat definitely upgrades my laziness level, just completely wipes me out. yesterday after aquiring a headache from pecking around on the kohls site, i ended up napping for about 3 hours. OMG
i do find myself actually accomplishing more stuff on days that aren't muggy. fall is on the way.. so, its nearly time to do another cleaning overhaul. Big Grin

Since everyone on this thread has had too much Sobe and gone and gotten themselves pregnant here's a little deal at KM:

Graco Snugride Car Seat Base & Stroller
Fabric: Grant Park
Was: $179.00 Now: $18.00 (#198 on box) some have reported seeing this at $65.00 at their K's, not as great as $18.00, but still a good deal if you need one, so YMMV. Saw it on another site and thought I would share. Also, Cosco Fleet Travel System Was: $110.00 Now: $10.00(#195 on box) and Evenflo Aura for $16.00(#190 on box). HTH someone who may need these!

Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! Those are some pretty serious prices!!! May just have to stop by the dreaded K store tomorrow. 'Course, my stores NEVER have the things that other people find at crazy prices...

I was looking in their ad, though, and saw some baby things I just may *have* to get to use up some of my HW peelies. Smilie If I could find one of those car seats, that'd be pretty sweet. Big Grin

Wow! That sounds like me. I feel like I've been doing things all day, but when I look around it doesn't look like I've accomplished anything! A little here, a little there. I definitely think I'm ADD. I really have to get my house and outside in order since I have my son's college soccer team coming here in 3 weeks and I start school on Tuesday. I just have WAY TOO MUCH STUFF! Tomorrow I'm driving 3 1/2 hours to watch his team play soccer at Northwestern in Chicago. I was there Friday. Beautiful campus! I'm riding along with ex and his sister, so not even any shopping on the way down or back. What was I thinking? Head Bang I'll need this when I get home! Cheers
