wave Hey everyone!! I am traveling right now so haven't had a lot of time to catch up/post but had to jump in and say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Jenn and Pretzels.....I found 5 boxes of slim jims at 2 different stores today!!!! I hope dh likes slim jims!! laugh out loud I tried scanning a box of jelly bellies hoping it might be the same but they came up item not found.

Anyway, I had to tell you all my story...I am traveling with my best friend while she is on business and Friday night my dh drove to Orlando to pick me up and bring me to Jacksonville with him for the weekend and my best friend will pick me up tomorrow from here again. Well, of course I brought all my coupons and ecb's with me in the car so I could shop shop shop this weekend!!! We get to my mil's Friday night and I am laying in bed fantasizing about all my great runs and I realize I left all my coupons and ecb's in my bf's car!!! EEK! I was seriously devestated and felt like throwing up. My saving grace was that when I left home, we didn't know about the FFS GC deal this week so before my dh left home I had called and told him to bring those darn booklets with him.

I freaked for about an hour and then realized I would be okay. I DID have my Kmart envie in my purse with all my good kmart q's in it and a virgin computer to print a bunch of good coupons from here at mil's. I woke up Sat and promptly hit 3 local grocery stores to hunt for peelies, tearpads and blinkies and found plenty to get me through the weekend!! Yay!! I did 3 Target runs today and 3 Kmart runs yesterday and today. I also ended up doing some deals at CVS with my phone number and shelled out about $7 oop total but ended up with 6 newspapers, lots of makeup and other stuff and $3 ecb's left over!!

I wanted to let you guys know that ymmv but at one of the Kmart's here I found a big wheel for $15 and a Little Tikes Swingalong Castle for $60. (There were also signs for an additional 20% off clearance toys). There was also some kind of play house for around $80. I bought the big wheel (rang up $12) but haven't convinced dh about the swingalong castle. I told him with overage and the additional 20% off it will only cost $40 at the most and I could easily resell it used for that much!! He still won't budge. Says we don't have room in the car. True, mil bought my son an early 2nd bday present (Cozy Coupe) and the back is currently full of that, the big wheel, poptarts and rice krispy treats but this is one deal it is KILLING me to pass up!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.........

It depends on the cashier. Some will limit TQs to 3 of each, others will let me use as many as I want. I usally just do a seperate order if they limit me. I need to choose my battles....

We sold the dishwashing soap for .75 and it all sold quickly, deodorant for $1.50 - $2, Body wash $2, and Durex .50. We sold the flameless candles for $4 but didn't sell many. I know it's only a quarter or fifty cents more, but those quarters really add up fast. Good luck with your sale. I really need to do another one this fall too.

Tanks! I just changed my list to reflect your feedback. The .25 counts for us as we need to raise a ton of cash for the kids medical bills!!! I'm going to put up a sign with his pic on it and hope that someone buys 200 condoms. Hey, a girl can dream!

Double, just want to say sorry for all you are going through - remember in a year you will look back and this will all be old hat (hopefully!). hug

Your prices look good. I think I might go higher on the huggies swim diapers and the All detergent - maybe $1 higher on each. The fur fighters wouldn't sell at my yard sale even for $1. In my past 3 sales I've sold about 10 durex total. Mad Not even a drop in my durex ocean. Someone said they were able to price the ziplock at $1 before. At my last yard sale I only put a few out but they sold super quick at $0.50 so maybe try starting higher! My trial sizes also don't sell well at $0.25 - I may try 10 for $1 at my next sale like someone suggested once. Best advice is start a little high but be willing to go down if people are turning away to quickly.

Welcome back, stormy! And hug DS Comfort

Quote from calliebritt :
Do you think that you could have gotten them in Aug and do it again in Sept? I never found the 9.99 ones, but did get a 5.99 one. Will have to keep looking, if so.

That should be my name according to my family...everytime it is time to go...I'm looking for my keys. My mom's bf is always joking that I need to have a clap on clap off type keyring so we can all just start clapping and find my keys. It's always a hunt!
From what I read you can't submit the same item for both months - but that means one item on one receipt. If you bought 2 of same thing on separate receipts should be no issue (like the water filter being both Aug and Sept)... not sure about same receipt - that would give their computer system a headache I think. You can double dip coupons and rebates with coupons but can not double dip on doubling up rebates.

I think it was DM who was laughing at me for the bra comment - tonight the DBF says "well the answer to 'where is my bra?' tomorrow is on the dining room table" - I was cracking up so bad when he said that, I had thrown it from one bedroom to another and it ended up on the table in between laugh out loud
Quote from shopgirl24 :

Used 4 at one time tonight, worked fine

When they see a cute kid pic above condoms, they may go "honey, we don't need these, let's make us a cute kid too!" laugh out loud

But if you put a sign of a screaming kid above them and write on it "You want one of these?" ... might sell more Wink

Quote from Katwoman99 :
Many have benefitted from looking for Kohl's hidden deals by making changes to the URL item numbers on the website. They find a visible deal on the site then add 1 to the number in the URL looking for "hidden" deals. Someone came up with a script to automate that hunt-and-peck of looking through tons of item numbers. That started the "hacking" accusations. This is coming from people who have benefitted from months of searching for hidden deals manually (same thing. automated makes it faster)

They always find something to gripe about on that thread.
Is that what people are b1tching about on that thread??? They think that is hacking - holy cow!
